I got one for me and one for my mother, we both had our umpteenth umbrellas die at once. The push button auto-open feature is much appreciated by Mom, though one has to be a tad careful (it opens quickly). It is large, extremely sturdy, and best of all has a super reflective edging. Open this sucker before you cross a parking lot in the dark and the flash of it stops cars. Closing the umbrella is another matter; I've found the best way is to put the tip on the ground and push down. The only con is I have to keep more of an eye on it, I can't just wander off and leave it like I did my old ratty umbrella. It's completely worth the bother in the end.

While not as large as I expected (it plainly says the size, I didn't take the time to measure), this is an excellent standard size umbrella. It has held up well in the wind. My only complaint besides size is the hook on the end is only a half hook which is pretty useless for using it to hand from things like a coat hook.

I was excited to use the umbrella yesterday after the great reviews. On my way to lunch it worked fine but it stopped working on my way back. The button to open didn't work and the umbrella couldn't stay up even after I manually pushed it up. There was a white thread hanging on the top. No doubt I was soaking wet. Very disappointing, broken on the first day, worse than the $5 dollar umbrella.

Update: Was caught out in the wind and it turned inside out. Not so impressed. Just a regular umbrella that I find overpriced since it is not windproof. Very heavy, but works well in the rain if there's no big wind.Have not had the opportunity to use this yet as we haven't had any rain. Did open it to see if it worked, and it worked as advertised. Was heavier than I thought it would be, but that is because it is bigger than originally thought and very well made.

It's kind of a smaller umbrella, but I do like the reflective material that is sewn into the edge. I prefer that my 15 year old daughter use this one because of that. I didn't experience a strong gust of wind while using this, but there is an overlapped cap on top of the umbrella that allows air to escape in those situations. Feels solid and sturdy.=============UPDATE: 12/16/2016We had our first windy day yesterday, definitely NOT 60 MPH winds, and this umbrella flipped up, just like any other umbrella, so it is NOT Windproof as described. The hardware does seem a lot stronger than a cheaper umbrella which made it harder for me to flip it back the right way, which was kind of worse. I was walking around fighting this thing, trying to flip it right-side-up, and all the while I'm getting soaked. When it flips over, I looked like I was carrying a bowl over my head, trying to catch water. I had to push it against a wall to get it to flip back correctly and close at the same time.I modified my original 4 stars to 2 stars because I still like the idea of the reflective piping. On not so windy days, it will still work out, but it is smaller than a standards sized umbrella.

I'm giving this 5 stars...But just a warning to smaller or weaker people. I had to strain to close the unit up after use. Yes, strain and I'm a man in good shape. It's a sturdy umbrella with a strong spring for opening the unit in high winds. It's a bit small for my taste, but works great for one persons use. It would be hard to shelter 2 people.So after all the negatively, it's a great little umbrella!

Material made and construction seems durable, with some features such as 'one press' open and close, vented double canopy and curve handle, I give it 5 stars.I hope that everyday is a raining day, so I can use this umbrella walking in the rain ;)

This is a nice umbrella.... takes some getting used to, but seems to perform well and do what you need it to do. When I say it takes some getting used to, what I mean is that it does not have the same feel as a normal, cheap-quality umbrella. It is heavier, a little baggier, and simply has a little different feel to it. But, the bottom line is that it works and works well, so don't hesitate to buy one if you are tired of the cheap ones that are found everywhere else.

Buon giorno a tutti e a tutte.Sono circa sei mesi che ho acquistato codesto ombrello mini , rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla qualità dei materiali .E davvero anti cappottamento (causa vento Forte) il telaio che salda il tessuto impermeabile (di ottima qualità) è in vetro/ resina molto resistente ( questo non fa causare la deformazione delle stecche in caso di vento ed eventuale cappottamento dell' ombrello. In più l'ombrello e provvisto di una striscia fluorescente molto discreta di color grigio, che in caso che si percorrano strade con assenza di luce notturna , si illumina ad ogni faro e sorgente di luce in cui si rifletta sopra . Un modo in più di mettere in sicurezza un pedone !Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti .Imballaggio ottimo e velocità da record .Grazie Amazon.

El paraguas en sí parece robusto, pero a las tres aperturas (dos días de lluvia) se ha roto y ha quedado inservible.No ha sido cuestión de viento o de mal uso. Al abrirlo con su botón, la pieza de plástico que sujeta las varillas a la barra en su parte superior se ha roto haciendo que el paraguas no se despliegue. No es posible volver a colocarla en sus sitio porque se ha cascado por donde va anclada a la barra. Mi sospecha es que dicha pieza es demasiado frágil como para soportar la fuerza del muelle en la apertura.Es decir, un paraguas sin apenas uso y que por lo demás era muy correcto, a la basura.Modifico mi opinión ya que el vendedor ha hecho todo lo posible por solucionar el problema. Muy buena comunicación

Pocos paraguas, desarrollan el diseño pensando con la seguridad de sus clientes e incluyendo una banda reflectante para una mayor visibilidad en atardeceres o noches lluviosas.Quizás es importante determinar con mayor claridad la información de las medidas del diámetro una vez abierto el paraguas.Edito y añado dos imágenes: Transcurridos casi 5 años con el paraguas, sigue impecable en lo que se refiere al mecanismo, varillas y a su tejido.Ahora bien, estoy descontento porque su empuñadura se ha vuelto pegajosa al tacto y es muy desagradable llevarlo. La realidad es que el recubrimiento de goma, se ha degradado y no es normal por el bajo uso en este periodo.

Desafortunadamente, se rompió al poco tiempo de uso. Es bonito y tiene el detalle de la línea reflectante en el borde, pero no hubo forma de salvar el paraguas una vez se atascado.

The media could not be loaded.  Ottimo il materiale molto pesante, struttura solida e ben salda priva di giochi evidenti, l'impugnatura abbastanza spessa e consistente in mano, anche con il vento forte non sfugge grazie all'ottima ergonomia dell'impugnatura. Uno dei migliori sotto questo aspetto.La parte superiore aperta non fa entrare acqua ma favorisce in parte la fuoriuscita dell'aria quando entra da sotto l'ombrello per evitare che il vento lo strappi di mano ed attenua molto l'effetto "folata di vento" ed effettivamente funziona ed attutisce parecchio la folata di ventoUtilissima di notte, la zona catarifrangente intorno all'ombrello. Risulterete sempre ben visibili, un plus per la sicurezza.Apertura e chiusura veloci ma non esplosive, molto ben gestibili.L'ombrello ad ogni modo risulta parecchio pesante e rispetto ad altri ombrelli automatici e a mio avviso non risulta adatto per la borsa di una donna, poichè risulta più ingombrante e più pesante da chiuso.- Il laccio per chiudere l'ombrello è parecchio striminzito e per agganciarlo con lo stretch bisogna fare parecchia forza, troppa direi, questo aspetto è migliorabile.- L'ombrello aperto non è molto grande, circa 94/95 cm, quindi "giusto", alcuni centimetri in più facevano sicuramente comodo.- La custodia in tela dell'ombrello ha le cuciture troppo deboli, la seconda volta che lo inserivo si è scucito lateralmente per circa 1 centimetro, pazienza l'ho sistemato.Per 17,66 euro a gennaio 2017 è un buon acquisto soprattutto per la robustezza generale dell'ombrello stesso è per l'eccellente impugnatura non comune a nessun altro ombrello provato. Da consigliare a questo prezzo ma con alcuni peccatucci a cui bisognerebbe rimediare e che lo porterebbero ad essere sicuramente il migliore.Dato che spesso si trova in offerta a 13-14 euro direi che sicuramente è da prendere in considerazione.Vi lascio al video dimostrativo che ho girato.Stefano
