Tablet (12.9 inch) Extension Bracket Extended Mount for DJI Phantom 4 Phantom 4 Pro Phantom 3 Remote Controller

Great item that works as promised. I used it with my DJI Phantom 4 Pro controller so I can use my iPad Pro 12.9" screen. It works perfect and the mount actually hold the iPad surprisingly stable.Overall it's a great bracket although I don't like having one more thing to do pre and post flight (put the bracket on / take it off). For example, f you leave this extension bracket on your controller when you put it away, it may not fit in your normal case/space (for example the stock DJI box), however you can take off the bracket and throw it in the box separately and it will fit fine. It would also be nice if you could leave the bracket on and still use a phone or any other device, but since the bottom is glossy there is no grip and you have to remove the bracket before using your smaller device/phone again (if you want to keep it secure).Besides those slight inconveniences, it's a great product and works as advertised; it's also more enjoyable flying your drone with a larger screen.

UPDATE: After fighting the screw with a flathead that holds the iPad, it doesn't move at all which makes this adapter absolutely perfect!!!I already had an iPad Pro 12.9" and I wasn't going to go buy a 10" iPad when the 12.9" already costs me $1,200. I reached out to find an adapter to allow me to look obnoxious and cool for anyone that would be in the vicinity of me flying the DJI Phantom 4 Pro ;)The design of the product is good. It slides onto the existing controller very easy. Here's the problem..... the iPad Pro 12.9" fits on it very easy, the weight is a different story. Shake it a little or just record while walking or tilt the controller and the weight of the iPad will force it to fold down whenever it wants.Since I am rating the product itself, I am rating it 5 stars because the build quality is good, it does adapt and let me attach my iPad Pro 12.9" as it states. Now I just need to figure out a way to reinforce the controller so that the iPad quits dipping down.

This works perfectly. It's a little tricky to slide it onto the DJI tablet holder but when you get it lined up properly it does slide on and fits snugly. Unfortunately it does not support a tablet in a case. I'm using it temporarily until I build something custom to hold the tablet with the case but for the price it's a great part that gets you flying with your new tablet.EDIT:I purchased a SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Series Case Designed for iPad Pro 11 and it did work with the Aboom bracket because the bracket gripped the slot that is meant to hold the Apple pencil, which I dont have.

Nice accessory that makes it easier to use a larger tablet. Beware that the “J” that captures the edge of the tablet will block the screen on tablets with a small bezel. DJI Go 4 puts some critical touch points under this area as well as the top status bar will be partially hidden. My fix was to cut off a portion of the “J” since it is much deeper than needed for the job.

There are a lot of us who are fortunate enough to be able to keep up with Apple and their constant release of new iPad models. Unfortunately for us, the drone manufacturers seem to have not taken that into consideration when they make their media device holders. Most of them allow for up to a 9.7” tablet. That means that we can’t make use of the amazing display on our iPad Pro!Fret not though! Buy this product and you will be able to use your new iPad Pro 12.9” with no issue at all! This product is easy to use and not 3D printed. You simply slide it onto the top of your media device holder and adjust to fit your particular tablet size. Easy.The extension bracket will seem a little right when you first put it on, but that’s a good thing! You don’t want to accidentally drop your expensive tablet, do you? I really like that this model can only be inserted one way. It simplifies the installation. One thing that might annoy some is that you do have to remove the extension bracket before storing it in most of today’s cases. But that is not the fault of the maker of the extension bracket.

Fits for 12.9 ipad But doesn’t hold it secure enough. Leaned to the side as I was getting something. iPad slid out of the mount and broke! So had to send to apple. Most expensive mount I ever bought. So to fix it I will spray with flex seal to make it hold.

I liked the extended holder.I can put larger iPad on controller. Works great.

This is an aftermarket solution to a problem the manufacturer should have solved early, the increased size of the newer iPads. It works very well although a bit clunky in appearance. A quality product that does exactly as intended.

Even fit my iPad Pro!
