Tip of flange wouldn't thread into head
Tried to use this on a 2005 R53 Mini Cooper S. It says it's compatible, it looks identical to the OEM unit I removed, but this wouldn't thread back into the hole. At first I thought it was me just getting the wrong angle or something so I took the OEM I had just removed and yup it threaded right back in. Measured the thread size with calipers and they are technically identical to OEM but the very edge of the threads are pitched in differently on the OEM sensor and the Duralast version I picked up from AutoZone (and went in perfectly). I can't say this will impact all applications but if you're considering this for your Mini get OEM or the Duralast PN from AutoZone.

Threads are wrong like mentioned in the other review
Started pissing out oil after less than 3000 miles. 0/10 wouldn't buy again.The threads are incorrect and caused it to start leaking out craploads of oil after a short period of time. I'm going to try a NAPA part, but I would suggest OEM if you can wait
