Fun project.
This was a fun project to assemble. The pieces are nicely laser cut and fit together very well. I broke one of the arms on the pendulum "tick tock" part, but I was able to glue it back together no problem. (It was my own fault. I tried to adjust the arm so it was more in line with the gear. NOTE: Wood doesn't like to BEND!) However, when I got the entire clock together, everything worked perfectly! Great conversation piece and the clock keeps perfect time.

too expensive for it not to tick tock
fun to build but my timer will not work, the pendulum does not tick, the clock itself is battery operated and the mechanism built is only for a 30 minutes timer with bell. the booklet is printed very small , you need good sight to read the details. took me about 8 hours to assemble, many spare parts.

Doesn’t even hold time
It was fun to put together but that is where the positive feedback stops. The pendulum timer is unreliable and often randomly stops. The clock itself is just a battery operated part, which would be fine if it held time. Even after multiple batteries, it falls behind about 5 minutes after running for an hour.

easy to disengage pieces
still working perfectly 8 months on. was a gift for my son. he loved it . said it was easier to disengage the pieces than some of the other projects he had.

Challenging Project
Use lots of wax and make sure all the gears are sanded well. Took about 8-10 hours to complete and the clock keeps perfect time
