This item was described as safe for use in home with pets. It is somewhat quiet with only a slight buzz. However, once activated, it freaked out my cats. It is not inaudible to pets. I only have cats, but my guess would be dogs would reacted badly to this as well. Also, before it warmed up, my husband's hearing aids reacted badly as well - he said it was initially a very loud buzzing in his ears. Disappointed as I was hopeful that this would be an option in my home.

I had to return this because both cats and dogs are bothered by it. I have 2 of each and all four of them became alarmed as soon as it is turned on.

So far so good!

Have not had long enough to determine effectiveness. But so defat I have not seen any mouse droppings in the area.

Used the unit for a month or two and the rats didn’t seem to care one bit. Ran by it, through it, hung out around it. Didn’t both them a bit.

Was going to use the product to try and get rid of squirrels but as soon as I plugged it in my cats ran away and couldn't get far enough away from it. They absolutely hated it.

This product is well worth the money my rodent problem is no more I would 100% buy again and share with those who need it
