Great product that works if you know what you're doing
I used this power splitter to case mod two xbox 360's into a single pc case. I was able to use an Evga 650 watt power supply as the input and made my own 360 power cables using a 24 pin and an 8 pin connector for both of the outputs. And it works! I had some initial difficulty as the amperage that runs through the splitter is limited, so I ended up only using the splitter for the 24 pin connectors and connected the 4 pins directly to the power supply. Now I have two xbox 360s that go to two different tv's on my wall that run independently of one another. System link is a dream now.

Phanteks you are amazing for this idea.
Phanteks you are amazing for this. I bought this to use on my Elite case for a dual system set up. I have not had an issue with it thus yet. Currently have a 1000watt power supply attached to it. My first system is an Asus x299 Rampage VI (windows w/ complete water-cooling) and the second is an Asus x270i Strix Gaming (hackintosh). I use both systems on it at the same time without any issues. Perfect set up with Phantek. Feels heavy (high quality) and the cable release buttons are a nice touch. No heat, buzzing, or any other unusual noises coming from it. High recommended.

Melted. Apparently doesn't like to deliver too much power.
Availability of this thing fell off the planet. I wonder if it was for liability reasons. I was REALLY hoping it work out. I had a 1000D case which supports to motherboards. I had an ITX for a router/file server (HTPC) and the ATX board was my gaming PC. This poor thing literally shot flames after about four hours. It melted into a blob, but nothing else was damaged. I ended up just building two PCs instead.

overpriced, should come with cables, cant use out of box.
So I opened up one of these, to copy the it and make it myself. I can make this with $13 in parts from my local electronic retail stores. If I bought these parts in bulk it would cost about $8-9 to make this. Great product, but way overpriced. If this came with the needed extension cables, it would have been a 5 star. The product itself is made well. I own two of them. Both work properly. Whoever/whatever does Phanteks soldering does a petty good job.

Used to combine EVGA 1000 watt and Cosair 1200 watt ...
Used to combine EVGA 1000 watt and Cosair 1200 watt power supples to theoretically have 2200 watt titanium rated performance as well as reduncacy. Not sure yet if it works as intended Will update performance

STARTED ON FIRE
Bought it at newegg but leaving a review here so more people know to NOT buy this product. I'm lucky I was present. Had 2 850 watt PSUs attached and was playing games with my son on the gaming PC (using this for a mining rig, not the gaming PC). We heard a pop, I looked in that direction and there was a billow of smoke picking up pace on the mining rig. It was this adapter, starting a fire. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a 1600 watt PSU. If I hadn't been there, it would have burned my house down and potentially killed my family. Was working great until it wasn't...
