As an experiment, I tried sucking some water stained red with sangre de drago. Was surprised to find the water I then spat out to be almost entirely clear. Not bad for a little, lightweight gadget.

Filters water really well and easy to use.
I tested this water straw last week and bravely took a drink directly out of the river Severn. It filtered the water really well and the water tasted fresh. Great product easy to use, light to carry and worked really well.

Disappointed, does not fit standard bottle tops
It doesn't fit any standard size water bottles, I was hoping to fill up a normal everyday 1litre water bottle with the same size screw head that you get in any supermarket butbit doesn't fit any of them.
