The brace is comfortable given what it's for... a bit hot but I live in Florida so there's that. I do feel more secure when wearing it... my knee buckles at the most inopportune time and it provides enough stability that I don't feel like I'm falling. Hope this helps...

Does this work for bigger thighs?

Yes Follow the guidelines they provide for measuring your thigh. The sizing is accurate and the brace has 4 velcro adjustments within the size range. Brace is very comfortable even when sitting which most are not. Very easy to put on and stays in place all day even when very active.

I wear it under my jeans. I don't wear "skinny jeans" and I don't wear loose fitting clothing either. I'm satisfied.

The material on this brace is very thick. It is cumbersome and quite uncomfortable for me. I have tried to wear this numerous time during exercise and it is very uncomfortable for me. Unfortunately I tried it too long before I could return the product. I would not recommend purchasing this brace if you plan to be active.
