The water is so clean since I started using this sponge filter

The media could not be loaded. I wouldn't use this as a stand alone filter for any tank over, say 5 or 10 gallons but it does make a fantastic additional filter to clear the water of smaller particles and polish the water.The fact this filter comes with 2 spare sponges and has a total of 4 bags of bio media with it for the price is brilliant!Perfect for small fry too.Obviously you need an air pump to feed it the oxygen (not included)This easily fits on to the hole at the back of the filter and everything is nice and quiet.I've kept fish for over 40 years, and can tell you, for the money it's great!Buy it, but please don't ONLY use this as it'll only work as an additional filter.Very easy to install too.Highly reccomend.

A good filter sponge but they’re too wide for my Aqqa filter system.

I have two of these, one for each tank, and am very pleased with it. I don't know how it would face up in a non-planted tank but as a beginner with lots of substrate and plants this works incredibly well. If you want flow in your tank place the head at the surface of the water and if not then place the head above the water. The inlet pipe also works well with quite a few brands of pump. Personally I have tried three air pumps and this works well with all of them. I have found that the sponges don't need cleaning very often at all. The filter is also very modular (comes assembled) for easy cleaning so any issues can be sorted quickly and easily. i would recommend this to everyone and their nan tbh.

I think there are better products and filters on the market but it is a cheap back up.

From taking this out of the box it was incomplete, was missing the following:Filter MediaOne of the two suction pads to attach to aquarium wall1 of the 4 spare spongesAfter setting it up and adding it to the tank, air bubbles were released form everywhere except where the air is meant to go.Taken back out, sending it back - wont buy it again

At first, it seemed to not work even for my small 5-gallon tank. I was disappointed, especially after I read negative reviews. But then I studied the water flow inside and gave a second chance. Actually, my motor is very weak, but the filter did it's work overnight. The tank became cleaner in 1 day and I squeezed a lot of dust from the sponge. If you have a little stronger motor, you can enjoy faster cleaning and wavemaker

Super hässlich aber Filterleistung ist gut. Die kleine Dose unter dem Schwammfilter ist ausreichen groß für eigenes Filtermaterial. Es passen 5 bis 6 Normale siporax hinein. Mit Siporax Mini laufen diese Luftheber echt gut. Für kleine 10 bis 20 Liter Aquarien find ich sie ausreichen.

Il filtro è facile da montare anche se bisogna fare attenzione alle sfere, non avevo chiuso bene il filtro e me le sono ritrovate tutte nella vaschetta dei pesci rossi, funziona obbligatoriamente con un ossigenatore non compreso. Fa il suo lavoro, l'acqua è veramente pulita, almeno a vederla, così non va cambiata di frequente, qualità prezzo penso sia valido, la plastica è un po' delicata ma senza esagerare non si rompe niente.I pesci da quando ho messo questo filtro sembrano più reattivi, sicuramente qualcosa fa.Consigliato.
