Very good, VERY sharp out of the box. They hone super easy and hold an edge very well. If you like NON-serrated steak knives- these are awesome.

The knives are exceptional; they are sharp, highly effective, and the protective sleeves are a welcome addition.

Premium quality flat edge steak knives. Don't use serrated steak knives. Serrated knives tear up the meat and cause juices to run.

Great knives!!! Cuts steak like butter

I looked long and hard for a good set of steak knives. Would rather pay a little more for something durable and heavier. I have no complaints.The handles hold well even with wet hands. Almost a rubbery feel. Blades and handles look great- dinner guests seem to like them.Blades seem ok for holding an edge. I haven't had to sharpen them yet but time will tell.

These knives are definitely one of the sharpest knives I’ve ever used so be careful. We have a modern kitchen and a magnetic rack for our knives. So they are out on display. And they look nice. I’ve tried cutting everything including tomatoes, lemons, beef and pork. They go through everything like butter. If they hold the edge like they should I will be very happy.

These are very sharp right out of the box and feel good in the hand. Good knifes for a decent price.

I have never gone wrong ordering Mercer. Very sharp and cuts nicely. I do not put them in the dishwasher. Mercer is a good knife with reasonable prices.
