Color By Numbers - Nature (Chartwell Coloring Books)

This is a nice book. Nice variety of images. One image per page on decent paper. Numbers are not too dark and not too light. Pretty easy to read. I will be enjoying this book for awhile.

This book contains some really pretty scenery and really nice images. The color choices are pretty good as well. The images are printed on only one side of decent paper. I use Crayola water based markers and there isn't much bleed through, although I still put a piece of paper behind the page I am coloring to be on the safe side. The paper however does crinkle a little from the markers. Plus, there are a lot of images to color. I like all but one or two of the images in this book. The colored images in the book flaps is also a plus. The main problem I have with this book is the amount of numbers in each space. Most people that color in "color by number" books know that if there is a "1" in an open area the whole area gets colored that color. But in this book, the publishers/authors decided that there needs to be a number every few centimeters. I don't need to be shown by a dozen number "1's" that a section of blue sky is only that color blue. Otherwise, this book is great. I have colored a few of the pictures already and they turned out great. Very happy with this book.

I bought this for nostalgic reasons. You get a good variety of scenes to color here and the pages are single-sided. The colors they use/recommend though - wow. They’re like popart bright. Most people will definitely want to make their own color scale, and even adjust it depending on the image.

really enjoy this book, but only gave it 3 stars for two reasons: 1) the first time I ordered this, I got a copy someone had colored a few pictures then returned it. I returned it for a new copy easily though. 2) it requires a deep deep deep dark red that isn't a color they make in colored pencils and i dont think in crayon or marker (something about that pigment being hard to make or something when I googled it) so you can't do the colors exactly unless you have really nice pencils you can blend. Other than that, I like this book.

Really nice with a different color palette than the "calm" and "mindfulness" books in this same series. Paper could be thicker but still nice.
