Does what it says, gun part seems made well enough to last. Nice assortment of pieces included and was able to repair a plastic tote lid, saving me from throwing it out. Just this one repair paid for this repair gun and I would recommend to anyone who does not want to throw away something plastic that could be repaired.

This plastic repair tool is very useful. It is like a stapler for plastic. The gun does not get hot at all. Only the little staple pins do. They melt their way into the plastic part. I have repaired several items already. No need to buy a new trim panel for my tractor when I can just repair the crack with this tool. It is very easy to use and comes with a ton of repair staples. This is a tool I never knew I needed until trying it myself.

So far so good! I like it and it worked really well so far! Exactly what I needed and what i expected. As far as longevity we’ll see how the stitches hold up in time. I will add photos and edits if need be. Used this to repair a broken trash bin.

Useful tool with a quick learning curve. Wish I knew about this tool sooner to help prolong the life of some of my past broken plastic parts. Works much better than expected. The metal staples heat up very quickly (seconds), so you need to be careful not to push the staple through the other side, like I did on my first attempt.I gave it a four-star only because the kit was missing the knife and the clear carrying case came cracked (QC issues). Amazon boxed it well, so it must had been cracked before it was shipped.

Wow! I had my doubts about this, but it’s so simple to use and it works! I have a welding hood that was separating at a seam that was poorly designed . The little wires heated up almost instantly and only when you squeeze the trigger. So, instead of having a gun with a hot nozzle/tip setting there, it only heats up when the trigger is pulled.

Works well. Have used it to repair trim pieces in old cars as well as the little rubber flap on my lawnmower. Comes with a lot of materials. Makes it hard to fit everything back in the case but thats not necessarily a problem with the item itself

Never had one of these before, never used one before, but my wife broke her old school (like 1980s) food processor's lid and we could let it go to use do to a small tab.Super easy and intuitive to use, was done with 5 minutes; as an old school guy I went a bit over board and used 3 "staples" to make sure in was super secure on all sides. Worked like magic, plastic looks kinda melted but not relevant to us. This is the glassy type plastic that cracks and crickle when you drop it, but it took it like a champ and now food processor is food processing again!!!. Loved it.Gun is just a bit smaller that a powerdrill, much lighter, came with tons of "staples". Just get itUSER TIP: I superglued the pieces together before "stapling" as to make keeping the pieces in place easier

This is the greatest tool for plastic repair that has ever been invented. Every family member that tried it, now looks for plastic things to weld. One of my favorite tools.
