ProSpec PLA - Deep Sea Blue - Beautiful Earthtone - Performance Grade 3D Printer Filament - 1.75mm - 2.2LB / 1kg

I've had pretty good luck with this roll and I'm about 3/4 the way though with it. I've had one break, I'm not exactly sure what caused it. It didn't look like a tangle and the filament is not brittle. Other than that, it has been excellent.

I would never purchase this filament again, and will actually be returning both this SKU and one other from this MFG/seller.This MFG is the only filament producer in the industry that apparently does not believe in properly vacuum packaging their filament. Having purchased not one but two different color SKUs, and receiving both in 100% perfect outer Amazon box, with in-tact bubble padding inside, and then each in their own 100% in-tact perfect condition protective product boxes, to find BOTH different SKUs to be 100% fully sealed (can squeeze and not release full air inside) one must come to the conclusion this operation is simply being cheap and skipping this critical packaging step to properly remove the air before sealing the bags.I have attached photos showing this and one other color/sku in their FULLY SEALED bags that simply NEVER had the air properly removed in the MFG packaging/storage process.I actually reached out to this company prior to this review to provide several photos to show the issue and ask that they address the issue given that this is apparently a brand new line of products with almost no customer review data. I received an absolutely offensive response that not only stated with my almost 30 years in the technology industry apparently I have defective eyes and somehow they were able to spot a "nick" in not one but apparently both SKUs bags that somehow were invisible to my eyes (allowing them to conveniently then blame Amazon for "ruining" the packaging) but then without even knowing my background attempting to overwhelm me with an almost comical amount of technical data on air exposure with PLA, that basically culminated to "these are not the droids you're looking for", in other words - "ignore this glaring problem and just use it and live with sub-par prints" and that they are "looking into" adding a "cardboard insert" into the filament bag which made absolutely zero sense to me as no filament producer in the industry does this or needs something so ludicrous since everyone else simply vacuums the bags properly. Then they told me of course as a last resort, they really could not do anything else to help so if I felt these improperly packaged rolls might affect my print quality then I could return them to Amazon for a refund. Will do.So, given this filament is what I consider "boutique" in the unique niche colors that are then represented by the "boutique" pricing that frankly is at least running along those of industry leader brands like Hatchbox, I will go with one of the many other niche filament providers (or leaders like Hatchbox) in the future.Anyone familiar with these filaments knows all too well that any length of storage time requires proper air removal to maintain any level of acceptable quality when finally used - period.I cannot risk multi-day prints having sub-par quality, or failing all together, due to improper manufacturing and/or packaging. Had this company been able to simply send replacements with even a single roll being properly vacuum sealed, I would have chalked up as a bad batch or temporary interruption of normal quality. Unfortunately, it became very clear from the response that my chances of ever seeing any roll of filament from this company arriving at my door properly vacuum sealed was very minimal, and hence I believe this product itself becomes subpar, hence the one-star. If 100% of the time what began as a five-star, top-notch filament has degraded due to being improperly packaged with air in it's bag, then 100% of the time it is reduced to a one-star product.
