A great story but a slow buildup

I made a mistake ordering this book. I was expecting for the edition with bigger fonts.

Smaller than expected (always the same mistake with never reading the description)

I asked for paperback and it came smaller than expected. The font is too small!

Really love how the author can make you feel so many emotions. If you know a bit about Greek mythology you’re gonna love this book. Not only because is a beautifully written but also you get to understand the complex life of a woman that has been unappreciated her whole life. The magic, the complex emotions and the way it rewrites the story we all know about Circe is amazing. I really recommended it.

I loved the vivid writing style , the honest , nuanced and eloquent description of emotions. The author did not take liberties with the traditional myths-only filled in the gaps in a most intriguing way. It is a feminist book ,and the character of Circe is worthy of my admiration, respect and affection. I actually read the book twice, because I just did not want it to stop.
