I got this to do a wall fish for a fiber optic cable inside a wall. It was my first time doing this DIY job. This tool makes it a lot easier since you can see inside the wall to look for any obstructions, plumbing lines, electrical cables, etc. to prevent creating more work or problems for yourself. Well worth the modest price. Was able to complete my job faster and more confidently using it. It is easy to use. Just turn it on and you can use it right away, and the manual explains the various functions well enough. Cable is flexible while still being pretty stiff and works great. Camera image is great is doesn't lag. I can see myself using it for all sorts of jobs in the future around the house and for car repairs.

This thing works great right out of the box. The viewing screen has a clear picture, and it's easy to operate and switch between the angles. It comes with a few attachments that you can attatch to the cable to move small objects around or grab to bring to the surface. Bought this for a birthday present for my husband and he loves it- he has used it several times now, in the drain pipes to find hair clogs and in the wall to locate electrical wiring (and pull it to the side) before drilling in some brackets to install shelves near an outlet. The quality and construction of the endoscope is good and this is a great product to have- a very handy tool to add to your collection.

I bought it to inspect vintage brass instruments and help with their valve alignments. 7mm cross-section is great for getting into tight tubing. .For those purposes the long camera cable is definitely overkill and it's kind of hard to manage the cable and the unit itself when working close. I suppose if you were starting a home or mobile amateur endoscopy business the long cable would be a great feature. Its also been helpful with HVAC duct issue and finding small items on the floorPicture is nice and bright. You can save images and vid to a memory card. Nice.Switching between the forward camera and side-facing camera is spotty at best. 9 out of 10 attempts failed for me. I think i got it to work all of once now. That's lame. there should be a dedicated button for that not pressing a button down for various unpredictable intervals to maybe get the function i want. Lame.The buttons and hierarchy of operations is weird. If you accidentally stumble into image review mode, you're in a dead end from which at least I could not escape without restarting. Lame.For money and image quality a good deal. Kind of squirrely system design.

Great price for a very useful tool to have. Works very well in the engine bay and even just using around the house or losing an item in tight spaces. Has several light brightness settings or no light. Able to take pictures and video. Screen is the right size to hold in one hand while scoping with the other hand. Battery lasts quite a while and seems like I only charge once a month or every other month.

I don't have a lot of uses for this, until suddenly I did. A mouse (dead) was somewhere in the engine or under the hood of my car. This camera was on sale, so I decided to get it and figure out where Mr. Mousey's little corpse was. The cable is a little more rigid than I expected, so it was a little awkward working the camera (eventually found the rodent in the wheel well interior) and boy was it a good picture. It took two of us working together to get deep into the area. Not sure if it should be this awkward, but it was the first use, so maybe it needs some wear and tear to become more flexible. The picture quality was amazing. This comes with a hook and a magnet but neither was going to work in my case. So, for now, the decomp has finished its process so at least the smell is gone. I can't wait for another opportunity to use this, but preferably not in my car anywhere. It will be fun to use almost anywhere I need to get access to so I can locate an issue or a body!

Scope camera worked as advertised, the picture was clear and crisp. Did what it was supposed to.

It worked absolutely perfect. The picture was great and I was very happy with this however, I pulled it out yesterday to use it for a second time it was dead. I charged it, but it does not hold a charge. I was able to use it plugged in constantly nice device battery suck
