Tweezerman Stainless Steel Nail Combo Set with Fingernail and Toenail Clippers

This is the second time I have ordered these nail clippers. They are high quality and do not leave sharp edges on the nail. Easy to use, and a good value for what the price is. Compact for easy storage, and for travel.

Finally, clippers which do the job. Well-machined, sturdy and clean action. Worth it.

I have had numerous nail clippers over the years and never really gave it much thought. In researching nail clippers, I can across some reviews of numerous brands. These Tweezerman clippers received great reviews. It seemed that reviewers talked about good quality steel and very sharp cutting edges as they cut cleanly rather than a more dull blade that left a more rough cut that may snag on fabrics or need filing. Here's the deal, my toenails are very thick and hard to cut. I actually broke my previous clippers in half trying to cut them and I needed to get new ones. These clippers cut easily and cleanly. The large clippers are great for toenails and the small ones do a great job on my finger nails. The angle of the curve seems to make it a bit more challenging to get below the nails, but once you get them, they make a very clean cut. The sharpness of the blades makes it so that they cut easily with little force. Because the cuts are so clean, I find that my fingernails don't chip as often as they used to. Very happy with these.

After years of using my previous generic nail clipper set, they became so dull I could not use them anymore.So I purchased several top rated nail clipper sets from Amazon.The Tweezerman nail clipper set are the best of the lot.Not perfect, just better than the others.Pros:+ They are sharper than any of the other sets.+ They feel sturdier.+ They provide relatively good finite control to make small precision clips, not just big clips.+ The angle of the lever at the point the cutter blades make contact is much higher than many of the other brands, and therefore allows you to use less effort, and have much better control, to clip your nails. (The angle of the lever of many other brands at the point the cutter blades make contact is much too close to the base, and you lose all your force and requires MUCH more effort to clip your nails.)+ The spring rate to return the lever to its starting position after clipping your nails is consistent (many of the other brands have a weak return spring rate).Negatives:- They do not have as much surface grip texture for your fingers to hold as some of the other brands.

This brand of products are good. I had never tried the clippers but I use their tweezers. I was tired of dull clippers so when I bought these I had high hopes. And I was pleasantly pleased. They work great and I hope they stay sharp for awhile. I like the design to. With the black strip on top I can find them in my drawer.

Careful with these as they are sharp and really clip nails very well! They should last a lifetime as I really appreciate tweezerman and their warrantees and good quality pieces. I use the big clipper for my fingernails not the small one and I love it. Clips a nice square edge on my nails straight across. Very sharp though you need to be careful to just snip the nail and not any skin!

Well made, solid and precise. Tweezerman has always been a good brand. These are built to last. Count on keeping them for years... or until you loose them... which might be why I ordered a second pair.
