well made
very well made and sturdy cd rack... the only downside is that the spacing for the shelves is a bit wayward and not well thought out. This means that there is wasted space that could be used for cd's but have to use it for books or something else. if the shelves were better spaced we could have it as a full cd rack... that said, this is the easiest i that i have assembled, the fittings are good quality and i had both racks done within 30 minutes. to fix to the wall i drilled through the support block straight into a rawl plug.. worked a treat.all in all very happy indeed with my purchase.

Racks
Very nice a little bit of confusion when putting them together but they turned out fine.

Good but not quite perfect.
One of the issues I have is that they supply these as a single unit to be bolted together and not as two separate units, so there as holes in the top/bottom for this. Also given that a cd case is pretty standard in size the holes and spaces don't quite add up to get all six shelves holding a row of CDs vertically, which is OK for holding the non-standard cases, but it would be better to have the choice.

Attractive, Sturdy, Storage system but challenges your DIY skills and requires strong hands.
Prompt delivery, Well packaged and arrived without damage. Excellent instructions (be careful to use parts as numbered even though they may appear identical) and even supplied with spare parts. Some of the dowel fittings were particularly tight which makes for a fantastically sturdy construction but requires almost super human strength to insert and/or put the panels together.Once assembled the shelf pegs which should have been a simple 5 minute job took an age. The quality metal pegs were too large for the pre-drilled holes I had to use a 5mm flat blade screw driver to bore out each hole which were just a smidgen too narrow for the pegs. Time consuming and requiring great dexterity due to limited space inside the already assembled cabinet. And even then a very strong hand was needed to insert them.I would recommend using the securing wall ties. However to keep them tidy out of sight I drilled a 1cm hole through the top section, marked the wall then took the unit away drilled into the wall secured the tie using some lace (and masking tape to temporarily round the securing tape) as a guide threaded it through into the cabinet. A small pilot hole immediately below the 1cm one is where I secured the ribbon. The self-adhesive decorated screw covers provided finish the job.A very generous 10 shelves are provide with each 2 pk. So 5 shelves per cabinet. My requirement for Blu Ray, DVD storage meant only 6 could be use giving me storage (horizontal Blu Ray, vertical DVD) for 80 Blu ray/DVD of various sizes across the two cabinets. The shelving system is versatile adjusting spacing and shelf numbers to your own personal requirements.A great product but one I would say for experienced DIY’ers with some brute strength needed.!Caution: hammering in dowels can cause push out and splinter of the decorative side so ensure there is some backing to provide resistance!I would buy again and would recommend. But always good to be informed.

The suggested arrangement is misleading
The units are very sturdy and assembly is straight forward despite the poor instruction sheets. The shelves are over deep for standard CDs and arranging them to hold DVDs would be a real problem. Unfortunately the main side by side arrangement of units shown is also very misleading. The units are obviously designed as a tower arrangement and when arranged side by side, the fixing holes are left exposed in the top plates with no provision made to fill/cover the four unused holes. Four extra cover discs would solve this.

Only fault is the instructions need to be clearer in how to create 6 evenly spaced shelves.
First, the above outer depth dimension of 22.5cm is wrong, the shelves are only 19cm deep – though this is fine, for CD’s anyway.Second, and more importantly, the instructions could do with larger more detailed pictures and explanation. The lack of this has probably led to the complaint by some that it doesn’t create 6 evenly spaced shelves but leaves a half-shelf at the top. This isn’t true, it depends on how you put it together. To create 6 evenly spaced shelves, you need to note that the shelf-stud holes in the side-panels start about 11.5cm from one and about 9.5cm from the other, and the base of the shelves needs to be the 9.5cm end.Apart from the poor instructions, it’s easy to put together and sturdy. Each 6 shelve fits 16 CD per comfortably (with a space to get at them easily), which makes 96 CD per unit and 192 across both units.

Not Quite Big Enough
Standard size music CDs will only fit if you arrange the shelves so that there are 5 shelves plus one only half-height. Therefore, it can't hold 204 in total as advertised. It might be okay for other types of CDs, but slightly too short to accommodate music CDs.
