They work now!
4/23 update - these still work well for me. Two application remotely switched robot programmable outlets for $30 bucks. Great deal. I continue to have no stability issues, these work as well as your internet connection does. Grab them at this price.I have two Pivot Power Genius (PPG) power strips. As others have pointed out in older reviews, they didn't work very well when first brought to market. That said, Quirky (Wink) is really working hard to improve their products in all ways and every way. I have had perfect performance from my Pivot Powers for the last several months. No sporadic power switching, no random loss of connectivity, just reliable function.I used the PPG for my Christmas tree using the timer function to turn the tree off and on. Worked for the six weeks the tree was up. I've linked the PPG to my Quirky Spotter, asking it to turn on an outlet/lamp whenever it sensed vibration, which has worked without intervention for literally three months. I have my other PPG set up on my home entertainment system, which draws a lot of power even when it isn't being used. Via the timer in the Wink app, I turn the PPG/entertainment system off at midnight each night (I'm not up that late!) and next time I need to use the system I use the Wink app to power on the PPG and system. Works every time and all the time for me and saves me a lot of vampire electric usage and cost. These strips can often be had for around $40 dollars if you shop around, for all it does with the Wink app (Robots, timers) and IFTTT etc. you really can't even touch the value of two smart outlets anywhere else.I Highly recommend this product.

Wink's lack of reliability just makes this an expensive power strip....
I've owned this item since March 2015 and it seems to be a pretty sturdy piece of hardware. The bad part is it's totally dependent on Wink for the "smart" features and Wink has proven (to me anyway) to be somewhat less than reliable when it comes to firmware, compatibility and overall system updates. My experience with this item is just one example of many I could provide documenting Wink's shortcomings. It worked great until some time this month (Aug 2015), I can't pinpoint the exact time since I've been on vacation for over two weeks of the month. At some point though, the on/off events from the outlets on this strip stopped initiating robots. The outlets still work fine, as I can turn them on/off via the Wink app, it's just those on/off events can no longer be used to initiate other events via robots. What's really upsetting is this is the only reason I bought it. You see, this is one of the few Wink devices that also interfaces with IFTTT making it an ideal way to "tie" the two systems together. This device is great when it's working, but since Wink is such an integral part of it you can't really review one without mentioning the other. Wink is what makes this a 1-star item and I can't really recommend it.

Works great with Alexa; two smart plugs, two regular
Really happy with this plug.Much better than all competitors I've tried so far because:-You get 2 plugs that work with Alexa. All the others I've seen so far only have one-It's very cheap compared to other Alexa enabled plugs that are all in the $30/40 range-It connected to my WIFI right away and was discovered natively by Alexa right away: painless and there is no need to say "Alexa tell Wink to turn "lamp" on", you can go straight for "Alexa turn lamp on"That's true of some other brands but not all. This is in my opinion an important feature. No one wants to have to say long sentences to Alexa.I don't know how long this will last but it feels heavy, well made. I have no reason to think that it'll break easily.I'm over the moon with this plug, I'm going to get several more.PS: I do not use a Wink hub, I used this directly with Alexa. The set up with my iphone was super easy, it worked out easier than with my Wemo.

EDIT: DONT BUY YOU GOTTA PAY 5$ PER MONTH NOW!!!
EDIT: I am now 13 years old, and I was one of Winks original supporters. It was a good idea for an app, but very bad execution as none of the devices wanted to work. So instead of fixing their lame devices to work with the app, what do they do? They charge you 5$ a month! Ridiculous! It does work great as a normal power strip if not connected to the app, but for 30$? I would spend my money elsewhere.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I am 9 yrs old and I got this for my room and found a trick! Go near your router and plug it in the nearest plug from the router, connect it, and find the second nearest plug and plug it in, then the third nearest, keep doing it until you get to where you want it to be. P.S. Houses with stairs don't work that well with this.
