This book has been very helpful for me to do very simple plumbing job around my home. Example I need to replace the faucet in my bathroom plumber was gonna charge me $800 labor and parts bought the parts. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the book, no problem at all no leaks. Saved myself some money. This book has tons of information pictures to guide you through step-by-step instructions. It’s kind of hard to follow it for it is a great value for the money. I recommend this to anyone that wants to do plumbing work to their home.

If you can read, and can look at pictures and can't hire a plumber and you dislike crapping in Styrofoam coffee cups than this is right up your alley. I read this front to back while sitting on a five gallon pail, it's easier to take a dump in a bucket than trying to thread the needle in 20 oz cumbys cup.

This is like one really souped up "Plumbing for Dummies" though the author doesn't come across to you like you were born yesterday. It contains 305 pages of clearly written, comprehensive coverage with large colorful pictures and detailed illustrations to ensure that by reading it while you work ensures you that there's no way you can go wrong, even when doing intermediate level jobs for the first time. Just glancing through it, I feel like I can become a professional plumber on this book alone.I plan to read the bulk of it as I find the time. The only thing I don't like about this book is that it is heavy and can fatigue your arms quickly. Hence, if you want to read it, do that sitting at a table. Other than that, I'd like to hear somebody tell me there are better books out there than this one. Oh yeah? Show me! I would swear by this book.

Book is well written and clear images of the subject in each chapter. Easy to read and understand the description of each topics.Clear, easy to follow the subject matter. Highly recommend for someone who's new to the world of plumbing!!

I know little about plumbing .... very little. That means I need an easy-to-use book, good YouTube videos, or a plumber when I need something done. We all know how expensive plumbers can be. For $14.67 this 312 page paperback from Creative Homeowner was just what I was looking for; explicit instruction, ample and well done illustrations, great color pictures and explanations that clearly cover most of the projects, improvements and repairs I might want to undertake. I just started a fairly extensive interior renovation of my 35-year-old condo and am pretty sure this book will see use in bringing the project to fruition. It's very easy for me to recommend this how-to book.

I have several copies in case by originals don't make it home after lending. I also give these out to new home owners.
