Fits perfectly through scupper holes on a sit on top kayak! Used to secure kayaks to vehicle or poles at the beach to prevent theft. If you have a Sit-On-Top kayak you should have this. No, its not too long, its just long enough

Good product
I bought this for some added protection when I need to leave my rifle in my vehicle. It is long enough to go through the rifle and attach to something solid. It get's the job done and unlocks quick.

Lock works, very poorly, but does work. I did lube it even before using it. Should keep children from being able to access what is "protected".

Simple, basic, and meets the device guidelines.
Excellent and apparently a CA approved locking device. Plenty of length for shotguns or rifles. Perhaps even a little too lengthy!
