It's super light, and does the one job you get it for very well - which is keeping you dry. you can roll up the hood into the collar, it's got pockets, and it looks sharp to boot!

Bought this for a trip to Yosemite and needed it a couple days during light rain. This jacket is more of a windbreaker style so not a lot of insulation but repelled the rain just fine and kept me dry. The Velcro closures can be somewhat of a pain as when you loosen one an adjacent one closes. But that is what keeps you dry by not letting water leak through the zipper so it is worth the inconvenience. It very lightweight and packable. The hood stores compactly and was used successfully. I’m 5’7”, 193#’s and bought an XL figuring I would wear it over some heavier shirts. That was a wise decision as I could also tuck my camera inside it and keep it dry as well. All in all, a worthwhile purchase.

This packable rain shell was exactly what I needed at a low price point for outdoor activities like golf and cycling. The material is waterproof and the hood provides more than adequate coverage during light rain. I’m giving it 4 stars because while it is easy to pack away, the breathability could be slightly better during high-intensity movement—but for the cost, it is a solid find.

very light weight, 4 generous sized pockets,attached hood that folds nicely hidden into collar, cord adjustments at the waist and hood ,and size is accurate and roomy . Haven't tried it in the rain yet, but it seems like a nice addition if you're looking for a light item for spring through fall.

I got these for wearing while on my motorcycles, I ride year round in WA and having a pair of rain gear handy is almost mandatory around here, especially during certain parts of the year/seasons. If you're a savvy rider who has been around a little, you know that finding good rain gear that fits all of your needs can be a huge pain or it is for a price you can't see as reasonable. I've tested different kinds/setups for rain gear and I learned that simplicity and packability and a low price is what you want, it is also very hard to find something lightweight and compact and not cost an insane price. This jacket is everything you need, I spent a lot of time researching and testing, this jacket is durable and super lightweight, waterproof (no seeping in my experience with almost a year of owning it). I even had a lower speed crash with this rain gear on and I landed/slid on it pretty good, to my surprise no rips or tears, not even abrasion damage. I've been riding since in heavy rain and it is still as waterproof as when I bought it. To my riders out there I HIGHLY suggest getting this and pair it with the 33,000ft full zip rain pants! To the folks at 33,000ft I think you made something amazing here unintentionally for motorcycle riders, you should also definitely market this set to that market. If you don't change anything at all with design and keep the same great pricing, the sales will start to flow because this is great (don't follow the trend of highly marking up anything marketed towards motorcycle stuff lol).

I was looking for a lightweight raincoat and windbreaker with an adjustable hood and this jacket did the job. It was acceptable that the area above my knee could get wet because of the warm conditions and my quick dry pants. When not in use I could pack it away, or simply tie it around my waist. In both Peru and Ecuador, the weather could change at any moment, and I used this jacket a lot. It is very lightweight, fit my 185 lbs. 5' 10" frame well, kept my dry and not overly warm during hot spells. Getting overheated was one of my concerns, and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I remained. All in all, this jacket was spectacular for the price and could be quickly worn or removed.

Just got this today and was very happy with my purchase. The size was true to what they advertised using their sizing chart. It fit perfectly even with a light sweater. I wanted some thing small to pack and this one definitely fits the bill, rolls up super small and lightweight. Judging by the shine of the material I am confident it will work well for medium rain. I hear some reviews talking g about it not 100 % waterproof. Well it has a 5000 rating which is good for medium rain for long periods. Since this is an excellent space saving rain jacket, that will suit my needs very well. I would recommend it.
