ANWA Elevated Dog Bed Large Size, Raised Dog Bed Outdoor Use, Portable Dog Cot Large Dogs

We purchased this elevated bed to get our dog's bed and mat off the floor. During the winter it helps keep her warmer as she is off a cold floor, and in the summer it is cooler as her mat does not get sweaty on the floor.We got a large size for our shihtzu - she would have been fine in a medium but decided to give her a bigger platform so her mat can be on it as well.Assembly is bit of a chore so follow the instruction video and lay it all out first. The manual isnt super helpful - the video was much better.Once it is assembled it is light but sturdy and our dog is well supported on it. For reference, our shihtzu is 8kgs and 10yrs old. She has no issues getting on or off the bed either as it is not too high for her. We have had the bed for 3 months and have had no issues or slackening of the cover or cleaning of the bed (wiping down with damp cloth).UPDATE - over a year onwards and the bed is still well loved by our dog. We also placed a soft crate on top of it so she has a private safe space off the floor. Bed remains sturdy and no sagging, no issues, very happy with purchase!

I admit , I am the worlds worst person to build something like this : I can only say that the build up of this comfy pet bed was made difficult due to my incompetence rather than the bed’s design : after a while ,( I refuse to tell how long it took me ) the bed eventually was built, and my chunky Bulldog tried it out and was not long in nodding off… he loves it … the bed is very sturdy, and has not collapsed, even with “ Robbie” acting as if he was treading grapes on it ….( seems I didn’t need the “ extra”Parts I had left over after the build… I can highly recommend this bed, and suggest you buy it for your best furry friend …this review was given with tongue in cheek remarks… any fault in the build is 100% my fault due to incompetence….A+++++++++++++

Yes it's a good product (once you manage to assemble it) but the one in the video must have been assembled and disassembled several times to make it appear so easy. I really struggled with it to get the first two legs to join and similarly to get the middle section to join, the only part not too difficult was the last two legs and cross bar but only because the bed has a velcro tensioner. Be warned, although it's a very good product,it is very difficult to assemble.

Pain to build up but dog loves it.

Dogs look lovely and comfortable sleeping on this bed. Nice to use in the garden to shade them from the sun. Very pleased with item and would recommend this. Keeps dogs cool, I have two small dogs so they share the XL size and there is plenty of room for their toys as well.

It seems sturdy fabric and a good ideaIn practice very differentIt looks straight forward from the video to build and very easy to push all the parts togetherThis isn’t the caseThey have to be pushed in with such strength or there’s not enough room for all the bars to fit. Then the Velcro end only works if you get everything in the right place, there are no guides how far the bars go in the plastic brackets. It’s been hammered with a piece of wood over the ends and even then my husband struggled to get the bars far enough into the brackets.Once put together it looks pretty good but it doesn’t even sit straight. One of the legs is off the floor and no matter how it’s adjusted it won’t go rightI am quite concerned to actually let my lab retriever sleep on it I will admit. He looks a bit unsure himself to!I liked the idea of the extra support in the middle but you need to be very strong and have good hands/shoulders as well as a man with a hammer and a block of wood to attempt this. An hour and a half It took to assembleThere must be far better versions out there. I’d research more. I wouldn’t buy it again

I dont usually write reviews but this is great. The instructions were pretty vague but it wasn't that hard to figure out and put together. It just all clips together. I was sceptical about how sturdee it would be, given that I wouldn't class it as expensive.We have an alaskan malamute so I purchased the extra large size, it is huge! He usually moves and paces all night because he gets hot. Even with his cool mats. Not with this bed. His 1st night on it was last night. He climbed on and didn't move the whole night. I am so chuffed with it, that I have already recommended to two friends. My best friend ordered yesterday and hers is arriving today! Great buy!! Thanks guysLittle disappointed to see the seller has doubled the price since we purchased!!

Difficult for one person to make, only lasted 6 months with light use and a 20 kg dog before one of the plastic t connectors snapped.Wouldn’t buy again wouldn’t recommend.
