Bucket Kit, Two Black 3.5 Gallon Buckets with Black Gamma Seals

Organic flour at Costco is about 50 cents a pound. That's less than half of what I pay most other places! But where do you store 20 lbs of flour, safe from moisture, bugs, and mice? IN THIS BUCKET!!! Since it's only 3.5 gallons it still manages to fit on the bottom shelf of my pantry, and my pantry is open-- just shelves, no doors or anything, so the black color makes it look less like a bucket of paint or a restaurant and generally just less obtrusive. We also buy sugar in bulk to over-winter our bees, so that's want the second one is for. The price of this item is pretty reasonable. Found them cheaper once at Home Depot but they only ever had them in stock that one time and I couldn't wait around. Plus, buckets are big and bulky to ship so I think the price is justified, even if it is just some molded plastic. Lastly, since I'm putting food in it, I'm REALLY glad it's Made in the USA.

Bought as primary fermenter for beer brewing. Good quality plastic. Lids fit tight, plus easy on, easy off. Only slight problem is that there is an inverted lip at the top of the bucket, such that when you turn it up, not all of the liquid drains out. Only way to empty it completely is to mop out the last bit of liquid.

Compact. Fast shipping. Gamma seal lids are the best. I had an Indian meal moth infestation after failing to properly seal a container I was keeping white rice in. Never again after Gamma seal lids.These buckets are the perfect size for my use (dry food storage). The handles are very high quality and swivel smoothly. Black is also a great color for these. Awesome. Very happy.

Supposed to be food-grade plastic, but seller warns not to use it for long-term food storage.

just received them. they look nice. washed smell out with antibacterial hand soap. hope they are as airtight as they look. very slow shipping though

I bought 2 of these to store birdseed. I was looking for something that would keep mice out and not be too heavy to carry out to my bird feeders. These are perfect for what I wanted. The handles are sturdy enough to not break off even when the buckets are full, and the buckets are a perfect size for the amount of weight I want to carry. And they stack on top of each other. Very satisfied!

These buckets are great. The lids fit great and this size is a perfect fit for my refrigerator with one shelf raised. Only downside is the inside of the lid has a lot of pockets as a result of design making the lid hard to clean on the inside. I resolved it by using 5 gallon food grade plastic bags inside the buckets.

Great sealed buckets! Used primarily to store kitchen compost material in the garage until enough accumulated to take to the composter. Seal prevents material's odor from stinking up the place.
