used it to replace discontinued batteries
I have battery tools where the battery is no longer available. I also like the fact that I have only one battery stile for all battery tools. Works great for me.

Good for anything, best for charger
So I have a couple of the Ridgid usb chargers. One basic and the other advanced for the mat light. Neither of them allow for turbo charge or charge my usbc laptop. So I hunted around on Amazon and found this adapter and B09D34DTTZ ( just search for that on amazon and you will find the usb thing ) the usb outlet thing. What I did was take out the 4 screws holding the cover on the adapter. Then removed the black and red wire. Snip off everything till about 1 inch, pulled the casing off and then with great care using needle nose plyers pulled each single strand wire and then a couple at a time to remove the wire from the crimp. Now that both of the brass/copper things have the wire removed. I drilled a hole in the center just above the two center most inner screw hole ( the cover on the back of the adapter. This lines up the usb outlet. I then snipped off about 1 inch of the wires of the usb outlet. Then stripped about 1 inch of exposed wire. I then put the wire in to the crimped in and then slid a tiny flat head eye glass screwdriver to open up the hole with the wire inserted then wrap back around and then slid the wire in to the crimp using the tweezers and needle nose. You can solder these if you choose to. I was too lazy to go down stairs and get a soldering iron and anything else I needed. You can drill the hole big if you want to fit the crimp things through if you want. I just drilled like an 3/16th hold and then just coiled in inside the cover plate. ( if you drill tiny hole you must feed the wires in first ) Then I coiled the wires up and put the cover back on the adapter and put all 4 screws in. I then carefully push and adjusted the wires so that I could just push it closed. ( you could skip the hot glue and use double sided tape ) I left just enough to open it about 3/8th inch on one side then loaded the glue stick in to a hot glue gun. Now here is the tricky part. Get the glue to the right amount so that when you are ready you just press the glue in to a glob under the usb adapter and them press it closed and flush. I removed the springs and lids and then snapped the face plate cover on and all done.I think it came out good. Now I can charge any phone and my laptops and no longer have low charge. In the end if you were to get 2 of these adapters and one set of the usb outlets it would cost you about 19 dollars per unit. If I recall the Ridgid ones cost the same and do not have fast charge. The usb outlets cost me 14.99 and the adapter was just under 12 dollars.

So far so Good
Easily replaced my old Bosch 18v batteries, used the terminals from old battery and soldered on the ridged adapters . Everything functions normally so far. Let’s see how durable the adapters are. Guess you better not drop on the floor but I now have two tools that were not being used due to dead batteries that are back on the job. And I have plenty of ridged batteries.

Brought our hotwheels back from the scrapyard
Fantastic, easy to use. Had the Cadillac Escalade Hot Wheels out of long term storage and back in action within 5 minutes. Inexpensive solution to what used to be a very expensive problem. Great quality overall. One thing to note (not a product issue) is that the draw on the Ridgid 18V battery may be a bit much with extended or heavy use. The battery went into heat protection mode first trip out but this was with my older son driving the youngin' around. Guessing this wouldnt be an issue with the appropriate sized passengers.

Works
The wire is not the greatest, but you can change that.I used one on a Black and Decker nail gun. Now using my Ridgid battery.I know the nail gun is 12VDC and the battery is 18VDC, too bad.

Worked great! Kids loved it!
We always grab power wheels out by the road and replace the battery with these. Kids go twice as fast and get a few months use out of them. Note to all- we’ve been doing this for the last 7 years and have found that since the ridgid batteries are much more powerful than the sandbar power wheels batteries it will eventually burn out the motor after several months of heavy use.

Awesome Product
This thing made my son’s battery operated four wheeler twice as fast as it was before installing it.
