No, it should not leak. Make sure it is fully seated. Here is another tip: When, I am filling my batteries the bulb gets harder which signals me the batteries are full.

This fills the batteries using the Flow-Rite watering system. It doesn't care where the batteries are - just that they are connected through the flow-rite system. So the type of golf cart is of no concern.
