Q: Does tblower shut off for a time when the desired temperature is reached.?

Yes it shuts off when it reaches the temp you set. It works like your thermostat at home. I kept it in my boat and now it's in the trailer. I have had it for 7 years.

Q: Is this safe to leave along in the cabin of a gas boat, diesel boat?

NO! Read the instructions that come with the heater. They are available on-line at the Caframo manufacturer's website. On a gas powered boat, a small fuel leak can develop and build up fumes to an explosive level inside the buttoned up boat. When the heater cycles on and off, it produces a spark, which can make the boat explode, setting it afire and all the boats around it!Therefore, you can use the heater safely while you are on the boat, but should never leave it unattended in the cabin or bilge of a boat moored in a slip at your dock or marina. You could be responsible for setting the whole marina on fire if your boat blows up.

Q: Can I put this under my camper trailer?

We have had this heater for 8 years. Our travel trailer is stored in an insulated but unheated RV garage. For winter storage we drain all tanks & lines, and put potable antifreeze in the drain traps, but we use this heater on the "anti-freeze setting" to keep the inside of the trailer above freezing when the outside temperature is going to be below freezing for several days in a row, just for insurance, in case there is any water left in the lines or pump. The temperature in the insulated garage will eventually drop below freezing if the temperature stays below freezing outdoors for several days. We also use it as a regular electric space heater while camping, but we place the heater in the living area. It makes enough noise on the higher fan settings to possibly keep some people awake if used in the bedroom, although we have used it in our bedroom before, on the lower fan settings, without waking us up. We have no complaints about the heater. It is well built and has always done its job.

Q: I purchased this heater last winter and it has worked great until now. It will start fine but shut down quickly and will not turn back on. Help

There's a fuse I believe that has likely failed. I don't think that's a consumer fix. Suggest you call the manufacturer for input.
