Fitted it to my grandfather clock as old one gone in for repair if it was louder would be nice but does the job as a clock

great clock easy to fit, replaced old wind up clock mec which always stopped, took out old mec put the battery one inside now have my old clock case and 100% reliable battery clock no body knows and no frustration yes!

When fitted and setup correctly the mech works fine but I feel the chime is a bit electronic and wishy-washy

No tiene ni un año que compré este mecanismo y ya empezó a fallar. El mecanismo de la melodia funciona perfectamente a cada hora, sin embargo el mecanismo de las manecillas se atrasa y lo tengo que estar ajustando cada 2 dias aproximadamente. No lo volveria a comprar ni lo recomiendo.

Perfect, Timing is consistent, the chime volume is not adjustable . but I found it to be the right level without being intrusive.
