Husqvarna 954636867 2-Piece 42 in. Lawn Mower Mulching Blade Kit - Orange

Paid premium for brand name here and was expecting a razor sharp edge from new blades but these don't seem any sharper than the ones that were already on my mower and used for the past 3 seasons. On the plus size, they are made of thick steel and perfectly sized to fit my 1994 Craftsman mower.

I normally stay away from mulching blades but these are some tough blades. I expected them to bend and warp over any little thing but I even shut my Husqvarna off by lodging one in an exposed root and it still cut level. Tough blades, not sure what others leaving reviews have been mowing but if you take care of your yard, the usual stuff you run over won't even leave a scratch on these. Fine blades, buying again today and used the previous two since 2018.

These were an exact math for my older Husqvarna 42" mower. They were nice and sharp, and finally gave me a nice clean even cut on the lawn. There is over the mounting hole a sticker that just doesn't want to come off without far more elbow grease than I'm willing to put in. I do not see how it would be an issue with attaching these to the mower deck. I just gave that blade an extra turn on it's retaining bolt.

If you have ANY roots or debris in your yard, you might want to buy something other than these. I got these for my newer Husqvarna YTH18542 mower to replace the stock blades that had worn down and bent them 15 minutes into my first mowing when I hit a very small stump that is level with the ground and I’ve run over 100 times with other blades. When I looked back over what I’d already cut it appears that the blades weren’t cutting even anyway.

Have to keep my mower higher than expected or it will clump up the discarded clippings. If this happens then I just adjust the lawn mower to the next higher setting and go back over the clumps. They mow the grass nicely.

Good sturdy blades that fit my Craftsman 42 inch mower made by Husqvqrna. My only complaint would be the placement of the non-removable label which was placed directly over the mounting holes. The label was extremely difficult to remove and some of it could not be removed even with a scraper. Some of the paint was scraped off exposing the metal to rust. I felt that if it wasn't removed that it would deteriorate over time and maybe leave the blade loose. Why oh why do so many manufacturers feel they have to use these terrible labels and then put them in an area where they either look bad or interfere with proper assembly?

I got these blades after a set of knock offs failed after a few months. I have had these on for a few months and they have performed flawlessly. They fit my mower perfectly with no installation issues.

these blades were easy to install and held up well mulch leaves etc. here in florida on what some call a sand hill blades last about 7 hours more then most. I usually only get about 6 hours out of a set of blades

Quality looks excellent ... Delivery was suggested for Jun 3 Got a message to say it will be late, then a message this am May 31. ... Out for delivery ... and so it was!Packaging was not very clever though; the plastic air pockets shredded and the blades were poking out of the corners of the box! But the important thing is they are here. and just as ordered.

I love theses blades they are very similar to my old ones but throw the grass farther and cut better nice balance made my old mower like new

These blades are great! They come in a great coating, completely sharpened blades for mulching, and cut very nice!!

Great blades , mulched very well and leaves stripes on your lawn would recommend these blades if you are looking for a decent mulching blade, also these blades have good coat of paint to prevent rust would recommend
