Perfect for my 3 year old Cub Cadet push mower
Perfect fit. Have been using them for several years. 4 stars because with the foam pre-filter in place the mower was being choked out (too much gas) and would not run well. I've learned to omit the foam pre-filter and mower runs perfectly. When this filter is purchased locally the foam filter is not included, which makes sense in my experience.

Doesn't fit cub cadet
This item is not compatible with cub cadet sc300 as stated in the listing. This filter furthermore will not fit any cub cadet 159cc/196cc engines.

These are the larger, rectangular filters
For some reason these are larger, rectangular filters and are too big for our mower. Our mower part number is a Troy Bilt 12AVB2MR766 which needs a smaller, rectangular filter, even though the filter part number provided by the Troy Bilt site matches this part number. So not sure if the issue is with the part we were sent or Troy Bilt is providing the wrong part number on their site? Or Troy Bilt is varying the engine used for the same lawn mower model number.
