The Missing

A Must Read
This book is very well written. There are so many twists and turns, you won’t be able to guess the ending. The middle of the book was a little slow, but once the suspense picked up again I couldn’t put it down. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I will definitely be reading more. She clearly put a lot of thought into all the details, giving real depth to the plot and characters. She even named some of the characters after her readers. And I like that she expressed gratitude to readers for supporting her art, in the Acknowledgements section. That was really nice. This author is very gifted. I hope she keeps writing.

So good....then.....
This was so good. I couldn't put it down. Then the ending was so anticlimactic.

Fast paced, twisty and fun!
A few months ago, I read The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin and really enjoyed it, and quickly started adding her books to my TBR. When I read the synopsis of The Missing, I couldn't resist buying it and moving it to the top of my list. Stories about castaways on deserted islands just always call my name. My fascination with this theme was planted as a child, when I read and fell in love with my mom's battered old copy of Baby Island (and then read it several more times over the years), and since then I've enjoyed many more books with this trope. But this one was truly original. Five people with seemingly no connection to each other end up stranded on a deserted island, and quickly realize that there is something sinister going on; they may or may not even have a chance to make it off the island alive. I won't say anything more to avoid spoilers - but I will say that it was a quick, intense, and twisty read. I was constantly imagining the horror of finding myself in that situation, wondering what I'd do, and wondering who was behind the situation the characters found themselves in. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. As I mentioned, it was creative and completely original, and while I may have figured out one twist (or guessed at it anyway), there were others that absolutely surprised me. I enjoyed The Missing so much that I'm adding it to my Favorites shelf, and I can't wait to read more by this author.

A Drama Reading for High School
I enjoy all types of reading; I felt this was a quick write. The beginning and basic plot was great but after the story it became predictable, tiresome and childish. I skipped over numerous paragraphs and still got the story. This author has great titles and story lines; however they are very common with a mix of your regular relationship issues. It felt like work reading the book.

You will fall in love with the characters in this Book!!!
I read this book very quickly. I easily got attached to the story and the characters in this book. I did not want it to end, and was sad when it was over. You will enjoy this book, it was typically a setting outside of my normal, so I was skeptical at first but I easily started to love it. My second book of hers to read and I have not been disappointed yet! Do yourself a favor and BUY THE BOOK!!!!

So good
I truly enjoyed this book. It had its highs and lows. Sad and happy moments. Moments where I was dying to turn the page to find out what was happening next. I give this a 4.5 ONLY because I truly needed an epilogue with certain characters. Even if it was just one day in their lives. You obviously know the ending, which is great. However there are moments that feel like was stolen from me. This is how you know you truly love a book. I'm so invested in these characters, that I feel like I'm missing important parts in their lives. Anyways. Read it. I only took .5 of a star off because I feel like I was left hanging. How I rate my books⭐️ wasted my time⭐️⭐️ not terrible but not great⭐️⭐️⭐️ good, but wouldn't read again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ really liked it and recommend it!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ absolutely loved it! Move it up on your TBR

Was Not Expecting The Ending - O.M.G.
Wow, I am slowly making my way thru all of this authors books. I have so many favorites - well all of them so far, but I did not see this ending coming. Highly recommend this book and every other book written by this author. I’m obsessed. Loved the characters in this book and was “confused” by the identity of the female lead in this book. Just wow.Read it! You will love it.

Read every book author writes
I read constantly. Thousands and thousands of books many times over. And I promise you that this author's books are unique and well crafted and worthy of study by anyone who wants to be a writer. But you don't have to be an aspiring writer, or a published author, to appreciate amazing storytelling and unique stories. This author is a phenom. She has put out 29 books in 5 years and every single one of them is breathtakingly fun to read, unique, full of twists, and impossible to put down. She's Stephen King without the gore, with each story springing from a fresh idea 💡.The one thing a lot of them (but not all) do have in common is psychological exploration of marriage, family, having kids... domesticity among straight people.Write what you know does work, after all.I have been working my way through all if her books and so far every one of them has been a delight that I read in one sitting.

Twisted psychological thriller
The storyline is so awesome, it's pretty difficult to put down the book without completing it. There are quite a number of twists and takes time to get through it. All in all very enjoyable.
