Will it be equally effective to add one or more caplets to a gallon of milk and refrigerate for 24 hours?

Based on what I've read, I think for that you must use lactase drops instead. They're intended to be added directly to milk. Pills or tablets are designed to be ingested, and they may not break up and disperse properly in a container of milk.

Besides Lactose, what other ingredients are in this?

Label says "Microctystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Crospovidone, Magnesium Stearate, Colloidal Silicon Dioxide". So all the major food groups 😀

What is the expiration date?

When I have ordered these, the expiration has typically been about 15 months after they arrive.

How many units each tablet contains ??

One pill equals one dose of fast acting. I usually take two if I’m eating several items that have dairy, or taking more than 30 minutes to eat a meal with dairy. But the cheaper products say their original lactase so you need to take 3-6 tablets with those.
