Surprisingly Fabulous! Have had for over 8 months. Still gets used.
We got this for our little man when he was around 4 months old. He couldn't pull to stand yet without assistance - and I wanted to give him something he could put his hands on.Well, this chair - as lame as it may appear - turned out to be a total winner! I really credit it with our son being rather strong. He was quick to pull to stand, quick to crawl, and at just over a year old walks a bit here and there too. And, what is pretty miraculous, is that he still loves this thing. At one year old, he can now sit in it and have his feet touch the ground. But his favorite past time is standing on it, hiding stuff in it, opening and closing the "cushion."Yes, it has phrases and talks - but I don't think that is the real allure (at least not with my son). It was something that he could play with, hold on to, slam shut... All while watching his favorite tv show.If you have limited space, go for this. I can't recommend it enough.PROsSurprisingly engaging.Child did not grow bored with it (so far had from 4 months to 12 months).Stays up pretty well (can tip, but takes work).Helps kid spend energy holding, balancing, playing with lifting cushion.Assembled by myself - and it wasn't too bad.Light-weight.Not too expensiveCONsOnly one color choice. When child is older and standing on it - can put lid down on toes, but no serious injury. Can tip - but is hard to do so. Never had any issues of injury.

Awesome chair
My son loves this chair. It came yesterday and i opened it up when i got home from work. I put the batteries in before putting it together and he stood at my feet trying to play with it while i assembled the 4 parts it came in.Assembly is easy. All you need is a philips head screw driver. I managed to put it together with a 13 month old climbing on me and trying to take it out of my hands, so it doesnt take mych effort or time.It has a feature where you can set your childs age in months, which i think is so cool, and it will randomly let you know how old s/he is.True to Fisher Price form it has the 3 learning stages, and also teaches some Spanish. It has a lever on the side thats entire purpose is a noise maker, a remote on the handle that counts, and a small compartment under the "cushion". The cusIt is worth every penny. If you're thinking about buying this, it's definitely a good investment.

Good for tots, different activities, sturdy, easy to use
My granddaughter really likes this. The chair needed very limited assembly that my hubby did in about 5 minutes (I could have done it in 10.) It's sturdy enough for toddler use, and a good size for little bottoms. It came as pictured and described, with no defects. The things I like most about the chair: The design is simple, with no parts that come off and on to lose. It has different settings for different "learning levels" and activities. The phrases and/or songs change up, so that it doesn't drive you crazy with repetitive sounds. (Actually, it has over 75.) It's happy. My granddaughter enjoys having her own tot-sized chair. The feature where the chair talks when you sit on or lift the lid is cute. It has volume control (thank you Fisher-Price!) The chair goes to sleep when not in use, which saves on batteries.Cons: These were so light to me that it didn't lose it's 5 star rating. I has no plug-in option, so changing batteries needs to happen. However, the battery area is under the chair and you need a screwdriver to change the batteries. I've noticed this on a lot of toys and wish they'd come up with another way to keep a battery compartment safe from little ones without making the change such a hassle. I also wish this had the option of an AC adapter.

Grandson loves this!
I rarely write reviews, but had to share our experience. I bought this for my 9 month old grandson, it arrived yesterday, and we had him for overnight last night. (Great timing). It was easy to assemble, (did it while on a Zoom call), and when he arrived and saw the chair, he couldn't wait to get down and check it out. He was intrigued and entertained for at least 45 minutes, loved every aspect of the chair, including opening and closing the seat. Today, he was fussy, we put him on the chair, and he was immediately engaged. As I said, we have only had this for less than 24 hours, but it seems well build and sturdy, and I anticipate it will be a fun item for some time.I would definitely recommend this.

Gift for Toddler- They love it
Arrived packaged well, and on time. I waited to write a review. My granddaughter has used this lovingly but as rough as a busy toddler can and is now age 6. It is still in great shape!! Very durable and everything still works. It is adorable to look at and used in many ways. The price was great for how long it is lasting.

My 1-year old granddaughter loves this chair.
Prior to this, she used a booster seat to sit and watch her Elmo. But with this, she can entertain herself with the things to do. I like that it has age levels because I don't have her daily but weekly and she seems to outgrow items quickly and this grows with her. If I had one suggestion it would be an auto-off or off when not seated. I tend to put it away and forget that it is on because it doesn't make noise when I move it. It's very stable which is a must little ones learning to sit usually either climb in frontward or while learning to sit tend to miss their mark and sit on the arm causing a chair to tip over. This one has a wide base to avoid that from happening. Also, because my granddaughter loves to climb and its second use is to boost herself up on the couch to sit or play with me. Bought her a second on for her house.
