Drabble : according to the editor : needs to resonate with the reader, hmmmWikipedia : ability to express interesting and meaningful ideasMe : instill supriseI did not get much more than 50% hit rate for these three 'criterias' in these drabbles.i'd rather go for Pulphouse fiction or Fredric Brown like stuff which is harldy longer and a LOT better.Hoever some DO instill interest, surprise and afterthought.As another comment says do not read more than 2 or 3 at a time. This is not a novel.As the usual the longest is the editor's drabble following the story that i peacully ignore. Shouldt i care whther the writer has a cat, a dog or drinks too much.13 words over target.

What a waste of my money. I thought these were actual short stories, not one page excerpts. What a waste.
