Flossing is a royal pain in the butt. There's no question about that. Knowing how much you need to thread around your fingers, dealing with reaching in those hard to reach areas, it's all a nightmare. Enter: the floss pick. The person who invented the first floss pick was probably someone who was incredibly frustrated at how difficult it is to use regular floss and was like "Hey, you know what, I bet there's an easier way to do this." And that person was right.Most floss picks suffer from various issues, especially with my teeth. The first issue is floss breaking, which I am pleased to say this never happens with these floss picks. Do you know what's worse than having food stuck in your teeth? Having food AND floss bits stuck in your teeth. It feels like a spacer has been put in your teeth right before you get braces. I'm only speculating because my family was broke and I never had braces but if I did, I imagine that's what this would feel like. However, these floss strands hold strong even through some of the worst abuse that I've put them through.Speaking of not having braces, my teeth are crowded. Like, extra crowded, so the floss picks that I use need to be able to reach in tight spaces. Again, these floss picks take the crown. The thread has been able to easily move in between my teeth without being stuck or jammed. Have you ever seen anyone with a floss pick stuck in their teeth? It's the silliest thing you'll ever see. And quite embarrassing, I might add. Then you have to awkwardly go find a pair of scissors and cut the floss without shredding your gums. It's a dangerous game, and one that this company doesn't want you to have to go through.Do you know what I hate more than food or floss being stuck in your teeth? Landfills. That's why I'm happy that these floss picks are made with all biodegradable materials so that I know they won't end up killing Shamu later in life. There's nothing more sad than a dead orca, and I prefer to save my tears for the other things in life, like being trapped in debt or dealing with family drama. I can safely throw away my floss picks and know that wherever they end up, they will be destroyed entirely and not cause the planet we have any more issues than it already has.So yeah, if you're looking for good floss picks that do the job right and won't cause long lasting damage later in life, these are the ones to get. I've ordered two shipments so far and will continue to get them unless I find something better (doubtful, but you never know).

Useful, a bit flimsy, but good

Our landfills don’t need any more single use plastics. Please consider a compostable option…with the benefit of charcoal.

Cons: I am not a huge fan of the flavor, they leave a strange aftertaste that I am not fond of. I would rather them be unflavored.Also, the floss splits sometimes going between my teeth.Other than that, the cost is affordable for the quantity you get.

I tend to break a lot of floss, but these are up to the task. I can use them rather aggressively. Taste fine. Biodegradable. What's not to like.

I bought these on accident thinking I was buying the black floss pics we usually use from a different brand. These are definitely not as durable. The floss is all shredded, even after flossing my five-year-old’s teeth.
