I have a bed frame with a headboard and footboard but it has wooden rails along the side and then wooden slats that run from one side to the other to hold up the mattress. I never felt too secure sleeping on it and felt it was not a sturdy construction. We recently changed mattresses and the new mattress is almost 300 lbs. Didn't want to take a chance of the bed collapsing one night so purchased a new metal bed frame and ditched the side rails. Liked the look of the headboard and footboard so I purchase these conversion brackets and attached them to the new metal bed frame. Because of the way the holes are cut at a diagonal, they will most likely fit any bedframe. Easy to install and they worked perfectly for me!

Great item. Paired 2 sets with a 12” Hobinche metal platform bed frame and I was able to use my antique full size headboard and footboard with a queen size mattress. Also gar me plenty of room for storage below the bed since those antique bed frames sit so low. All I had to do was purchase longer hardware. The hardware sent with this kit was too short to pass through the legs of the platform frame I purchased.

This worked pretty well with my new 18-in high metal king size bed frame. I did not like the footboard on my existing frame. I mainly just wanted a headboard and no footboard. That's why I purchased the metal bed. The hooks went into the existing headboard and fit perfectly. To attach the piece to my new frame was more of a challenge. The screws that were sent with this product did not work at all. They were very short. I found some in my garage to use. I was able to use one screw on each side for the headboard. It wouldn't have been helpful if the piece was a bit longer. Because I got an 18-in metal bed it needed to be a bit longer. However I did make it work.

Wasted money and a trip to hardware store because dimensions shown in picture were wrong, seems to be a nice sturdy bracket otherwise!

I bought this unit to convert the frame to the headboard's style so I didn't have to buy another headboard. It's held up very well for the 2 years it's been in place. No wiggles in the headboard, even when guests use it as a backrest when they sit up and read.

Don’t know what type of bed this is supposed to work for. Hooks are too big to fit into my headboard and footboard, no way to attach it to my standard metal frame. Waste of money.
