I bought this to add to packaged ramen and it didn’t disappoint. I added it with the water when I put the ramen in the microwave so it could reconstitute and it cooked up perfectly at the same time the noodles did. So far I’ve tried it with ramen in cups from various Japanese brands and it is a great addition. I recommend this highly.

I was having issues trying to find bits of seaweed like what you typically find in restaurant miso soup. This solved that issue and another I was having with Tofu. I don't eat a lot of tofu, and its easy for what I buy to put in soup to go bad before I use it all. This has both in one package. I will agree with other reviewers. It is easy to add too much of the seaweed. It expands drastically, so use sparingly.

Ordered this to add to miso paste for a quick lunch. Oh my GOSH!!! It's wonderful!!

Becareful measuring the amount of sea weed, it looks small but when hydrated it really grows....my first attempt had me with a bowl full of sea weed, lol. I didn't waste it, I bagged it up and froze it and used in making bowls of misco soup until I used it up....it freezes well. My only two complaints are:1) Tofu cubes are very very small and remain almost none existence once hydrated..(unlike the sea weed and green onion). Cubes of tofu needs to be much bigger...then this will get 5 stars.2). The instructions are not in English on the package, so measuring/cooking instructions are trial and error...I used instructions from similar products as a guide.Don't let the small package of product fool you....this makes many,many bowls of soup. Will last a long time.

Very happy to find this, I love miso soup and have always said there isn't enough of seaweed or tofu cubs in the soup so having the option to add is perfect, they are the perfect size and the texture is amazing for brothy soups

A little goes a long way!!! You don’t need much at all per serving so this is good value and taste for me.

Very nice flavor that it adds to your soup. BEWARE the seawood expands much more than expected. The dried seaweed basically is the size of a pencil but expands to about 1" & .5". Otherwise, the tofu expands nicely, you wouldn't know it was freeze-dried.
