These are seriously dummy proof for new hot tub owners. It definitely was a learning curve and I didn’t realize how much there was that went into the balancing of chemicals in your hot tub. But this kit made it easy to understand how to balance your hot tub and keep it safe for your family.I like the resources that it came with. They were extremely helpful because I knew nothing about hot tub chemicals prior to owning a hot tub. I’ve been successful now at keeping my hot tub up and running at a safe level.I like that the resources make it very easy to understand how much to put in and how long to wait before getting in and using your hot tub.

I bought this thinking it was a starter kit for our new spa, but after filling the spa, I noticed that it did not include chlorine ( or bromine). It has hardness increaser, alkalinity increaser, and ph reducer which I almost never need. My advice to a new spa owner is to buy the chemicals you need individually.
