I got the 3/8", 4x6 and it is super cushy. Really happy with the quality and thickness. My only complaint, and reason for the 4 stars, is that it is definitely not 4x6. It's closer to 3x5. It works fine for my space since part of the rug is under the couch, but if you want it to fit your rug perfectly then I recommend buying the next size up and cutting it down. Still a great purchase for the price and I'll be ordering another in a larger size for another rug.

The pad is perfect, and I ordered the 3/8 size and maybe I should have went one up, but a review on YouTube mention that you obviously know there is something underneath the rug with the half inch. Either way, I think this is the perfect size and it does exactly what I wanted to do is to keep the area rug from moving. It's also adding a tad bit of comfort when I stand on it compared to it being flat on the floor. It just makes the rug seem more luxurious. The cost is pretty inexpensive for the benefit so I highly recommend you don't even hesitate about getting one. As for the title or heading for this review, I did accidentally order another pad which did not have the rubber latex bottom so it did no good, apparently it was supposed to be used just heavy furniture. Next time I won't assume, I will read what I'm buying.

This padding made a beautiful outdoor rug feel like a plush indoor rug. I have hardwood floors and a beautiful outdoor rug in front of my couch and matching runner that I love. But they had no padding and I wanted something a little more plush feeling. This pad did the trick.

This is a good rug pad that will protect my nice rug. Although it is better than the old rubber pad we had on the runner in the hallway, it still allows the rug to move a wee bit. After several days, we have to straighten the pad and rug again. I suspect it's because we step into the hallway and immediately turn either right or left. I don't believe it would move at all if not for that. So far this is the best pad we've had for the spot, but not perfect.

We have tried various pads for our several oriental rugs but nothing would keep them in place when the dog got the zoomies. We bought one to see if it would keep the rug down, and it works very well. Will buy more for all our rugs

I put this under my new Amazon rug. It is perfect. The pad added an extra layer of comfort under my feet. A great investment.

Got this to replace standard mesh rug gripper. Was a little hard to trim to my awkward sized runner (used box cutter) but works SO well for 9x2’3” runner on hardwood in a house with an active dog and child! No more slipping or sliding! Highly recommend

I bought this product to put under a large wool run I purchased at Marshalls.It was perfect. It went down easily, adhered to the floor well and holds the rug firmly in place. The liner had to be trimmed just a bit, which was easy to do with a normal pair of scissors.It is also wonderfully 'cushy.'The rug and the hard wood floor are both new and I really wanted to protect them. I'm glad I purchased this particular product.

I was surprised with the quality for the price. I have a $200 rug pad from wayfair in one of my rooms that is far less comfortable then this one !! Highly recommend this product! It also holds well, no slip.

Love this underpad. Searched Amazon for a long time and took my chance. One side rubbery for my wood floor so won't slide easily. Happy with it. Just received new rug and feels good over this underpad. Size as described too.
