Not a Strobe Light
I just received what I thought was a strobe light only to find that it is a solid on/off light. The light itself is also insufficient & despite being identified as being coast guard approved, does not have any type of seal between the housing & battery compartment.

I Expect Better From ACR
It is way too easy to write bad reviews but sometimes it is justified. This survival light from ACR puts out insufficient light, the clips hard to work and do not stay clipped all the time, and the thin clip arms do not hold the light in place on my PFD. I hope my PLB from ACR works better then this light if and when I need it or I will not be alive to rate it which is one way to prevent low ratings I guess. I will not be using this light on adventure challenges it simply is not up to ACR standards. Challenges can be risky, and risk is mitigated with good equipment. This light does not meet the challenge. I am sad about that.Capt Bones

C-Light Signal for land & open water (Seadoo Adventures).
Hello EveryoneWhen it comes to water safety for anytime of motorized or non motorized vessels or even hiking this C-Light is great. If the need arises that you needs to be located quickly this C-Light is life saving tool. I hope I never have to use, but if I do this will aid in quicker response / locate.Secondly, I had a close friend take a look at it for hiking / cross country running use, he also commented the "If the need arises that you needs to be located quickly this C-Light is life saving tool. I hope I never have to use. Darn this light is super bright".You can not put a dollar value on your or someone else safety.ThanksPedro.
