BoomPack Wireless Bluetooth Speaker System with Case Cover for iPad 2/3/4 - Black

I think the name 'boompack' is a bit misleading to be honest - much like the five star reviews on here. The sound is certainly better than the iPad on it's own but it's nothing more than adequate. As for the build quality, the packaging is classier than the actual product. In summary, it's over-hyped and overpriced.

Awesome sound, almost as good as a sony sound bar, great for partys and relatively easy to set up, only criticism is the case doesn't lock the ipad when you put it over the screen. Otherwise, extremely awesome!

There is no denying that the iPad is the top of the pile when it comes to tablets, but the Achilles' heel that always drags it down in terms of ratings, and which I have noticed since buying one, is the sound quality from the speakers. Saying this, they're not terrible, it's just a shame that this particular function of the tablet does not live up to the high standards of every other feature of the device.This is the main reason behind buying the In2uit Boompack. After spending the money on the iPad 4, I thought that it deserved a decent set of speakers to do justice to the quality of the rest of the device. This definitely lived up to expectations as well, with the Boompack providing very, very good sound quality whether I was watching movies or videos, or wanting to fill a room with my music.The thing that I loved the most about the speakers, however, has to be the design. Aesthetically, the speakers are beautiful and the iPad fits into them like a glove, while still being easy to remove. Access is incredibly easy to all ports and functions (even the camera, both when the speakers are out or in); the magnetic flap provides front and back protection to your tablet and folds to provide a stand for the Boompack; and despite all of this it takes up minimal space and is extremely portable. The design of it also makes it very user-friendly, pairing wirelessly with the iPad with the minimum of fuss and the side speakers popping out to provide even better sound.All in all, the Boompack seems to be a great acquisition for the Summer, being lightweight and portable enough to not take me over the baggage restrictions at the airport, while not compromising on quality. The price is fairly high, admittedly, but when shelling out for the iPad, it's worth paying a little bit extra for something that is going to make up for the shortcomings of the tablet and is, in my case anyway, going to get a lot of use.Definite thumbs up from me.

Extremely compact.There is not a bad word I can say about the Boompack! I thought the price point was a tad high at first but you are paying for remarkable quality here. I've always found the sound on the iPad pretty naff and this is the perfect solution, you could not ask for a better product to accompany your iPod.It is very portable and extremely light weight. Due the Electrostatic technology, unlike normal speakers it does not contain weighty magnets. The slimline speakers really are impressive, they provide a clarity of sound which is perfect and yet add no extra bulk.There are two tweeters on either side which neatly unfold to provide clear stereo audio. Running along the bottom is a powerful sub woofer which really boosts the audio output and provides bass. By utilising the Electrostatic technology it means the speakers pump out sound from both directions to really fill the room with your audio.I work in digital media and I have found the Boompack is the perfect tool to take to client meetings. I use an iPad to display video content to clients and it is essential that audio is outputted at maximum quality. So many of my clients have been instantly impressed by the Boompack, within moments of walking into a meeting I can be set up and showcasing a video with confidence. Connection to the devise via Bluetooth means there is no messing around with cables and you are not restricted if you want to take the iPad off the stand and away from the speakers.I've started to use my iPad at home a lot more since buying this speaker. It is ideal for enhancing the sound if you want to watch a movie. I now very rarely use my Ipod speaker dock as I much prefer the sound quality from the Boompack. It is also great for Skype calls too. The stand conveniently allows you to position yourself in front of the camera and of course you are gaining clearer audio output.The battery life is fantastic, it states on the box a full 10 hours of life. I use it a lot and it has never died on me. The addition of a battery indicator may have been nice but I always keep it topped up just to be safe.Aesthetically the product looks stylish and classy. I purchased mine in white to compliment my iPad but I believe it comes in black too.Summed up... Beautiful sound and sturdy protection integrated in a single product.

I received this IN2UIT Boompack for Christmas and cannot believe how it has transformed my iPad! My initial reaction to the brand (as I had never heard of it before) was slight trepidation but the packaging looked premium, which I hoped would then match the product itself...I was not disappointed. The Boompack fits my iPad perfectly and allows access to the camera hole and charging ports. It folds up neatly when not in use and is light enough to carry.The Boompack holds my iPad at a very comfortable angle for watching films, which is brilliant as the TV in my room has recently become redundant due to my moving it around to fit in a new larger bed. I have also taken to catching up with programmes on 4OD and BBC iPlayer so the speakers are great for this, too.The sound produced by the Boompack improves the volume of the iPad tenfold. I can comfortably sit the iPad on a surface and communally watch films with my boyfriend and friends. The build of the Boompack is solid and the materials used are of a high quality.I am very happy with these speakers as an accessory for my tablet and would highly recommend them to anyone. Although I have only used them at home I would imagine that this sort of set up would be good for business trips and presentations.
