Mir gefällt besonders an dem Produkt, dass es klein, kompakt und funktional ist. Und - auch, wenn es nur optisch ist - der goldene Farbton meines MacBook Air wurde sehr gut getroffen. Bisher habe ich nur den USB Port ausprobiert, um meine externe Festplatte anzuschließen und die Daten meines alten Macs auf den neuen zu übertragen. Das hat einwandfrei geklappt und ging recht schnell. Im Vergleich zu anderen vergleichbaren Artikeln finde ich das Produkt als etwas zu teuer, daher einen Stern Abzug beim Preis. Ansonsten: klare Kaufempfehlung!

I originally wrote a 5-star review, that this is THE hub to leave permanently attached to your MacBook. Yes it wiggles loose really easily, but that's just how any flush USB-C hub will be, and you can apply a piece of scotch tape to the bottom keeps it in place, so it seemed to work perfectly.HOWEVER, I then started to notice that the LIGHT on the hub is ALWAYS on, even if my MacBook's been shut for hours, which made me worry about how much battery it was using. After measuring battery drop overnight with and without the hub, I discovered this hub uses up 11% of my battery over 8 hours *by itself*. In other words, if you leave your laptop unplugged for a single day it will use up a third of your battery.This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. There was no reason for them to include the light -- it does nothing functional. So I can only recommend this hub if you keep your MacBook plugged in most of the time. If you travel with it, then this is a terrible battery drain. Unforuntunately, I'll need to return this now and look for another hub that doesn't include a totally unnecessary light.

Solved my need for attaching an external display, mouse, and keyboard. Nicely compatible look with my Mac (choose the right color) and clean cord organizer. Easily detaches for using the laptop in its intended portable configuration. One word of caution: plug it in, and then your peripherals, one at a time. I mistakenly plugged in all the peripherals to the unit first, and then plugged in the unit to my Mac, and for half an hour thought it had turned my MacBook into a brick. It shut down, and wouldn’t come back on for love or money. Finally I tried unplugging everything and just putting power into my (already fully charged) Mac via the USB-C on the other side. It came on. Then I stubbornly figured I had nothing to lose at this point so plugged back in the dongle; no failure. Then plugged in each peripheral one at a time and observed; no issue. So that’s what I concluded: the all-at-once was too much. I haven’t unplugged to use the laptop alone yet; I’ll probably plug it back in afterward the same way. Some more tech-savvy person may have another POV; that’s what my experience has been as Joe Plug-and-Play User.

Otherwise elegant dongle (why 2 stars) will not fit Macbook Pro 14" M1 Laptop as part of dongle blocks power cable port.Even more disappointing is Purgo support (none) hiding within Amazon 'tech support', which is support that does not address issue or contact vendor but simply asks to search on your behalf for another product that might work.Would have been great to find out if Purgo People are going to make a dongle that will work with the 14" 2021 Macbook Pro - but you cannot even find them on their site page...!On to trying to find a dongle that works with this laptop...
