With a bit of soap the unit was easy to install and works like new.

Replace a worn unit.
Bought to replace a valve that started leaking. Not sure why the old valve leaked, seems like it shouldn't have, but the new one fixed the problem.

Obsolete and non functional
Terrible product. First off, the barbs are undersized and won’t fit modern camelbak tubing. Second off, the mouthpiece won’t release from the adapter, so it’s no better than a standard mouthpiece. I have bought several of these before but they changed the design to something far inferior.
