Eh
The book arrived, but the quality is pretty bad. A lot of the pages are very crinkled and ripped, but none of the pages are missing so I’d say it was worth the buy. I needed this for a college course so I’m just glad to get it cheap.

Terrible condition
This book was delivered in bad shape. I do not recommend anyone else renting this book as it is falling apart. The front cover is almost fully ripped off and the pages are in bad shape.

Best for Physical Anthropology part of UPSC
This book has been written by 3 domain experts in a simple lucid language with tons of 3D pictures and photos that help in understanding the concepts. All basics are explained in a wonderful way and it is very beneficial for those aspirants who are preparing for Anthropology optional on their own and are also new to the subject. Some topics of syllabus are not covered but that can be done from notes available in market. No book covers all topics.P.nath is highly technical in nature and therefore I couldn't follow it. This book excels in explaining all major topics of physical anthropology and you can easily make really great notes for the topic with diagrams. For leftover topics , you can refer the market notes.Overall a great book to read.At the end of the day it is the 200 or 150 words that matter which you write in paper , and I think it's a better approach to write answers that explain the requisite citing real life examples. (Which this book provides as insights)You will not regret this book. All the best. !

Recommendable book for anyone interested in both biology and anthroplogy
It provides a great deal of info about how biology and anthropology are interrelated. In addition to that, it describes certain events that happened in our history which further fleshes out the mentality of human beings. But for bio students I would say, this book is written with the mentality that all reading this book has nothing but a primitive knowledge in biology, so certain chapters are filled with those info which bio students have already studied in much more detail in their high schools, which might get boring after a bit. So, I would suggest to them bare with it, or rather omit those topics you are sure you know a lot about. Apart from that this is a brilliant book

Must read for anthropology students
This is a must read textbook for college students and beginners in the field of biological anthropology.Topics are well discussed. They range from general theory of evolution to primate radiation, emergence of humans, and allied fields of forensics and medicine. The book is written in a lucid manner with a mention if the latest research in the field of anthropology. However, the book is much heavier than it looks like. Also, the pages are quite thin. The book is black and white. It feels like we're reading a photocopy of some original book. This makes photographs dull and boring.
