SeaStarDometic Service Kit for Helms, HP6032

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! My boat steering kept leaking fluid everywhere on the steering column until I found this awesome little product! Installation took 30 minutes and the provide a super easy to follow set of directions with handy pictures!

Worked like a champ, was just what I needed to stop the leaking on my Bay-Star Hydraulic Steering. Had everything torn apart rebuilt and back together in under an hour.

The kit comes with everything you need and the instructions are easy to follow. Even comes with an extra woodruff key. If you haven’t taken your steering wheel off in a while, you’ll find that this extra key comes in handy. I had a hell of a time getting mine out. Some heat, a hammer and a punch did the trick. Back to this kit! Price was fair and got the job done. The bad news for me was my seal looked mint - my leak was due to another issue.

This kit fixed my leaky steering column. however be aware that the pictures are a little misleading, this kit is the one that come with the shaft seal, black plate that covers seal, the 3 screws that hold the plate, the shaft key, and the main bolt that hold the steering wheel.

This was the right part for my Sea star helm. Had oil leak and lost sterring. Found oil leak behind sterring wheel. Looked on internet and saw how expensive a new helm is. Found out you can rebuilt the unit
