Holding up well so far
Mounted outside on a water system, in a hot humid climate. So far they are holding up well after 10 months. Looking good.

Replacement of a digital gague.
I like the 0-60 dial easy to read when adding air to vehicle tires. I had a digital gague on my tire inflator and I got tired of dead batteries. I also wanted an accurate readout, tested with a pencil tire gauge to see if both inflators read the same. I really like the 2 1/2" dial very easy to see with old guy eyes. I added a few wraps of teflon tape to the threads to ensure a good seal, no leaks and works perfectly.

Used this vacuum gauge to measure pool pump efficiency
I used this gauge to help solve some suction-side pool plumbing issues. The pump was not priming and I didn't know if there was a problem with the pump or the plumbing or both. With some PVC and a couple of other pieces I made a fitting which connected to my inlet plumbing at the pump. This worked perfectly and after some debugging I realized it was the pump (a seal had worn) and not the plumbing.Something easy to miss with this gauge that probably led to a number of people having issues (and giving poor reviews); a vacuum gauge measures the difference in air pressure between what's in your pipe and the atmosphere, therefore you typically need a small weep hole somewhere on the gauge to let the outside air pressure in. This gauge has a rubber stopper top with a pointy nub and some small print on a label saying to cut the nub before using - this lets the atmospheric pressure in. If you do not do this it will not work correctly! This product does not come with instructions so if you miss that little label and direction on the gauge you're going to have problems.Overall I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of this gauge.
