Ringside E-Z Lock Pro Swivel

I order one of these. The first one I got was clearly defective as the mechanism kept getting hung up (would not swing freely). I sent it back and got another one (Amazon makes replacement simple). The new one swings freely but holes in the U shaped piece that hold the bag are too big so it makes a lot of noise (rattling around). Gonna send this one back and not try again.Also (not a defect) the bag hangs too low with this swivel so its a lot harder to get the bag up to speed when using smaller bags. It may be OK for big bags which are slow anyway.I like the idea of quick release to change bags - that's the only thing I liked.

So here's the fundimental problem: the pivot closest to the base is the one that naturally will want to swivel. That's a problem because 1) it swings the bag sideways in reference to the sewn in hang loop. This wears the hang loop incredibly quick and breaks the bag. 2) When using a small or Xsmall bag, the hinge pin knocks against the base.If you wrap the joint closest to the base with electrical tape to immoblize it, then things work better forcing it to pivot in the propper place. But you shouldnt have to on a pro swivel. It's built solid tho. But get a swivel with just one direction of pivot.

Poorly made. Looks like it could be a counterfeit product or maybe ringside just gets their stuff made in Pakistan. Cheap crap.

I mounted this huge monstrosity of a swivel and I hate it. #1. The knuckle hits the base every time I smack it. #2. This isn't any faster than my other swivels. Actually it's slower. and #3. Every bag I use I have to tape it around the loop so it doesn't stick sideways. I knew this already from previous viewings on you tube. It is very obnoxious.

It looks nice. It's heavy as a mule. It's exactly what I want. To hang a large piece of heavy wood art. For boxing, I'm not sure. But it's a cool looking thingy.

Before I could even thing to break this thing down, i will be dead. feels like it will over live me, made out of steel sturdy, you will get many years of use.

It swivels easily and attaching different bags for different purposes is quickly done. It is obviously well constructed and easy to install.

Durable, strong

This swivel hangs way, way to low. About an inch lower than the Everlast U-hook. The one I received was completely unusable as the parts not flush with other parts, the bag hung on an angle. I have never seen this happen before, wow. The picture says it all.. weird. It also appeared to be used.

Great, fast swivel, meets expectations of a "Pro" product. Quick bag change is a nice feature.

I'm giving it a 3 because the pin fell off after 2 days of punching. I had to make my own. I had to oil it my self due to skweaking after a week. For the amount I use it. It's good enough. It's a decent buy.
