the HomeSeer system is the best!
I must say I have tried a number of switches and dimmers over the years, and I have finally settled on the HomeSeer switches and dimmers. Ok, yes they might be SLIGHTLY more then some of the competition, but their dimmers ACTUALLY TURN OFF with used with low power lights. Other dimmers just get really dim, but never seem to actually shut off, and/or they hum really loudly. Additionally, these have multiple configurations that you can set up, ie double tap up and you can create a scene for your system.I just moved recently, and have now put in about 20 switches, dimmers, and companion switches, and have had no problems with the system. One dimmer came dead out of the box but was a quick and easy replacement!

Great but
They are great however I had two malfunctioning ones out of the box brand new. This made me waste countless hours trying to figure out what I had done wrong with the wiring only to find it was correct the whole time. Spent a long time with continuity testing and voltage testing. These however are the first ones I have ever had that were bad. Probably they have been doing their rounds.

Only 1 traveler needed
This switch needs neutral and only a single traveler line. The other side will need the traveler, line, load, and neutral. This worked out great for me. Most 3 way switches has line in one box, load in the other box, and two travelers in between. Since with this setup I only needed one traveler, I hooked up the other traveler to load. This way, I was able to get both line and load in the same gang box on the other side without pulling additional wires.

My Install Was Frustrating
I attempted to Install the WS300 and WA100+ combination on a 3-way switch setup. I hooked it up and got it to work. However, even with dimmable bulbs, the lights flickered and only put out about 1/2 brightness. I followed the instructions for increasing brightness but it didn't work. It would not synch with my Z-Wave hub despite multiple tries. I tried using factory reset numerous time and it failed; I guess I am just not fast enough to achieve their "rapid succession" taps. I tried the test button and got 5 green lights instead of 5 white lights. I rewired to make sure I absolutely had it wired correctly per instructions. I did have it right. However, somewhere in the process the switch failed - yes I had the power off when I rewired. I am really disappointed. I'd like to return them but I a suspect it isn't returnable. Great idea, questionable implementation. It feels like a design by techies without regard to human failings.

Really love the switches
Really love the switches. I have used GE Zwave+ fan dimmer, this one along with the main switch for my bedrooms. But I just love the way HomeSeer has implemented the switches, especially in the manual mode. GE ones are a bit confusing since they don't have an strength indicator.

THESE DON’T WORK
These things are worthless. I sunk over $700 into buying a bunch of their devices that just don’t work. They’re junk. Don’t waste your money. Oh and when you try to get customer support, they will spend their entire time pointing fingers at everyone else. Oh it’s your hi , oh it’s your this, oh it’s your that. Matt, the person that was supposed to be helping me exited only 2 email exchanges before he started finger pointing. Now I have $700 worth of trash that Amazon won’t take back and Homeseer refuses to do anything about. Spend the extra few bucks and buy Leviton or some other known name’s products instead of these clown’s!

Works great, but firmware updates can be expensive
These are great switches that work well with SmartThings. Be aware though, that there's a firmware update for the switch. But, if you don't have any Homeseer automation software then it will cost you $50 for their firmware update software plus another $40 or so for a Z-wave plus dongle. So that's about $90 just to do a firmware update. Homeseer should make their firmware update software free for any Homeseer device. I can understand charging for deploying firmware updates for non-Homeseer products.

Four Stars
Works ok, but the range of its receiver leaves something to be desired. It is intermittent.
