Soft Peppermint Puffs Candy, Individually Wrapped Soft Mints, 52 oz Tub

I’m very happy with this 52-ounce tub of puffed peppermint! I normally buy the smaller bags you find at dollar stores, but they’ve become more expensive and harder to find this year. This large tub was a convenient solution, and I’m very pleased. The peppermint is exactly what I expect from Red Bird — no different from the smaller bags I usually purchase. Like the smaller bags, there are a few broken pieces, some empty wrappers, and a few smaller candies, but none of this bothers me at all. This was a quick and easy way to get my hands on everyone’s favorite peppermint. I’ve been using a handful in each stocking and gift box, adding a touch of holiday color, festivity, and that classic peppermint scent. These are very fresh and soft, melting in your mouth just as they should. The expiration date is almost two years from now, which is great. A note for others: this brand isn’t for everyone, so I’d recommend trying a small bag in-store before committing to the giant tub. For me, though, these are exactly what I wanted and a great addition to holiday treats.

I've purchased five different brands to find out which brand is the best. Red Bird is #1 because: 1) They melt in your mouth much easier than any other brands. 2) Better texture than others when they melt. 3) Generous size. I did order a small bag of Red Bird and the tub of Red Bird peppermint puffs. The tub peppermints were a little larger.

My suggestion for marketing. “Little Puffs of Heaven”. Second to none. No one comes close to Red Bird. Keep it privately owned. NEVER sell to a big conglomerate. These candies are the best best best mint puff I have ever had. It is now my addiction. I get the box of 1000. I have one serving a day as my daily treat. You can tell it is fresh with quality ingredients. One doesn’t mind paying more for a quality product made by a great company. YUM YUM YUM. BUY A TON

Bought these as a cheaper option for my dog's horrible breath. Fairly effective, and both my dogs absolutely love them. They taste pretty good to me also, and I like the way they crumble in my mouth.

Taste is great and is soft. The wrapping of the mints could be better. Some not wrapped others half open.

Peppermint puffs are just what I was hoping for. Great sweet flavor and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I like that they are individually wrapped so I can toss a few in my purse (and tuck a couple in the grandkids’ pockets for the way home!) I l’ll definitely be back for more!
