Very solid tool
I just got this in when I had to replace the tub drain in my guest bathroom. After getting the old one out and prepping the new one, i used this tool. It worked exceptional. The two sides both were a fit for my new drain seat. One thing that was beneficial was that you can use many tools on hand to turn this. I ended up using a screwdriver through one of the holes on the main shaft to turn the tool. I could have used a wrench but since I did not have one at arms reach I went with the screwdriver approach. It still worked like a dream. If you are a homeowner, make sure you have one of these on hand.

Worked perfectly
Easy to use fit perfectly into the drain making the removal quick and easy. Great price while being extremely durable.

Solid tool
Very good quality. Glad it has a whole to put a screw driver through so that I can add some torque to it. Also can use a wrench. Whoever designed this knew what they were doing! Great product!

Did the job
I had a drain that I needed to replace and didn't feel like doing it the old school way by cutting and hanging with a screwdriver as I knew the drain had been in there quite awhile. This was actually my first time using a drain wrench and I wish I would have bought one years ago. The wrench fit perfectly into the bottom of the old drain and I used a crescent wrench on it to turn the old drain out. And that drain came out surprisingly easily using this drain wrench. The drain wrench is solid and should be fine for multiple uses. This is a case of using the right tool for the job . It may not be needed often but it's definitely a good tool to have if your going to remove an old drain. Absolutely worth the money.

Just what I needed
Tried to use the method where you take needle nose pliers upside down and use them to twist it. The drain is 24 years and wouldn’t budge. This tool made the job easy.

Roughly made, but works
Well, it did work on my tub drain, but from the ton of tiny dents and scratches all over it, it almost looks like another customer used it 100 times or more and dropped it a bunch of times, and then returned it to Amazon and then I bought it. 😒The ones that the big box hardware stores sell are just a couple dollars more and they look beautiful, plated and a very nice finish- No dents and scratches all over it like this

Works great
Worked like a charm to get my old drain out that wasn’t working well. Just stuck a sturdy screw driver through the hole for leverage and came out easy peasy.

Heavy duty and worked great.

Slight modification needed.
I had to drill and deepen the center hole on the small side to fit properly on my tub drain. If you aren't handy or don't have access to a drill you may have a challenge with this. This might not be an issue depending on the style of your drains.
