The shear number of digital faces that are available make this mask awesome from the start. Also makes it a multiple event/year use item. However, the small eye slits make it hard to see, especially at night.

The mask is ok I suppose... the video imagery isn't really what I hoped it was. It's not horrible how ever it's hard to make out any images downloaded from my phone gallery to the mask. If it's not a bright and light colored image, chances are you won't be able to see it clearly... The seller for the product were very good though.

The mask works well as an LED display - no diodes were out, pairs seamlessly to my phone, and there's a about 15-20 pre-programmed masks to choose from. With this said, there are two critical flaws, and while they might not entirely be the manufacturer's fault, they do persist nonetheless:1. You cannot see out of this mask. This mask was worn by myself, multiple friends, both parents, and coworkers - needless to say, we all have various body types, head sizes, differing facial features where the eyes are concerned. Despite this, none of us are able to see out of this mask consistently. The eyes holes are simply too narrow to see out of. Your peripheral vision is lost, so your situational awareness is neutralized and your depth perception suffers greatly. Trying to do basic tasks like walk up stairs, grasp items in your hands, and look at your phone are very difficult while wearing - not to mention a safety risk. You'd better be okay with pushing your mask up from your face constantly while trying to do basic tasks.2. The "DIY" section where you can take pictures and upload them to your mask is essentially useless. Regardless if you use your camera or upload digital works directly, the images are severely degraded or overbloomed with light, which ruins the colors.The manufacturers uploading this product under 40 different names and accounts on Amazon doesn't help either, as it makes tech support impossible. I wouldn't recommend this mask, personally. Only reason that I don't return this mask is because I can cannibalize the LED's and make my own mask with the remaining pieces.

I purchased the Mini/child Mask for my son, and planned on gifting it to him for his birthday. Upon powering up the mask, it appeared to work as expected! No dead LEDs, showing images correctly, I thought everything was great.....until I used the mask tool.The included instructions for the mask state to visit a website to download the tool, and I managed that just fine. However, after running the tool, I decided to remove some mask images and leave others. Doing this resulted in virtually all images (static and animated) showing artifacting and basically rendering the images useless. The only working "face" is the text one, which appears to work as expected after entering text and saving.I've tried using the "reset" button to put all of the factory images back on the mask, as well as upload a single static and single animated (gif) using the included files, and it's seemingly permanently stuck this way. I also tried to run the app under compatibility mode (Windows 7 and Windows 8 mode, host OS is Windows 10) and this made no difference. This mask is recognized as an HID device, so unfortunately, there's no way to just drag/drop images onto it, it's stuck this way. I'll change my review if I can get in touch with the seller and rectify this, but for now, the mask is useless and if I don't get a response, I'm going to have to return the mask.

My 13 yr old still loves to go trick or treating. This was a great choice for him to use and now we have it for many years to come. Love the animated pics, - the Santa face w the moving eyes was my fave. Plus, being able to write your own text is so cool. The other fun feature is you can take a picture of someone and use that as the image displayed. He was using my newborn son’s pic and it was adorable. Great product!
